This series has to have been one of my favourite motorcycle tours to watch (alongside the Norway one you did). It shows that Morocco is entirely achievable from the UK in a 2 week tour. It would be great to do a follow up to this on how you planned it, costs, lessons learnt etc as I can see that been of interest to a lot of viewers. Ride safe and keep up the great work 👍

Got back this weekend from a week long tour of Morocco on hired BMW F850GS.
What a country and trip...
We did Marrakech -Taroudant - Ouarzazate - Merzouga - Tinghir - Ouarzazate - Marrakech.
We are already planning 2025. Beautiful people, country, riding and cheap as chips...
We stayed at the Berber Palace too!
Where did you hire the bike? Was it easy to get accommodation or did you book in advance? I'm hoping to go next winter. Fly/ride.

Richy, I'm definitely with you regarding cities. I absolutely hate riding or driving through cities. Where I live near Durham, I can be in the North yorkshire moors, the dales and the Lake district all within an hour or so on my bike. The Scottish border area is also doable within an hour or so. I think I am spoilt for choice. Really enjoying your Morocco trip. Would love to see you doing this trip again with Egon and some of your old team.

I was there in october 2022, indeed wonderful gravel roads there.

No this is over Chefchaouen. Rif Mountains are about 3-4hrs east. But yes. Absolutely mega
I'd have been tempted to plant a seed or two from the oranges, and hope to stop on a Wildbad tour a few years down the road and pick fruit from a tree to eat sat in the same place.

I think this is the best tour you have done and you have done some great ones. Love the mini compressor I have a desert fox compressor which plugs into the bike great for inflating from flat essential stuff on these sort of tours with a repair kit. Keep the tours coming great video skills !

only one time in my life did i hear nothing. I was on a canoe trip, on the peace river in Florida. where, there was no sound, ( I mean nothing) my ears could not compensate the nothing and started to ring. no wind, birds, water, NOTHING. that happened over 15 years ago, and I still remember the sound of nothing. I actually thought, I could hear my own heartbeat.
