- Today is something different, i have a fault code "E08" on my Candy washing machine. My washing machine is not spinning, but i can hear the motor turning. E08 means there is an issue with the motor, and could be one of three problems.

Saved me buying a new washing machine watched so meany videos on why it wasn’t spinning
@@beng9314 glad to help.
Just finished fixing mine. There was one of bushes that needed pushing out/stretching and a wire that had melted and been taped and tape had come off so stripped back the wire re-wrapped it and clipped back. It’s spinning now but when starting/adding water still makes a drilling sound so may have a motor issue but for now it’s running. Thank you so much !!!!!
@@samanthaferry6052 ah good job, the drilling sound could be the water pump, the fan blade's on the water pump could be broken or maybe the filter. Im not sure but Clear out the filter first, that might work.
Just wanted to thank you for your step by step advice!. I took ours apart successfully and repaired it using the steps you mentioned. Your a legend dude!!! Thank you very much
Awesome, glad to help. Thanks for your comment.
I can’t tell you how much i appreciate this video, this is the exact problem with mine and it has worked! My new brushes have arrived now too. Was a difficult job to get the the back of it and get the motor out, but i reckon you’ve saved me about £150! Many thanks!
Thats great thanks for your comment 👍 I'm glad i could help.
Absolute legend mate, the amount of money you’ve saved all of these people in the comment section ❤❤ just done mine and I’m about to go on and order the new brushes. Keep up the good work

This was helpful tutorial 👍🏼
Plus .. clean the black dust sticking in the brush springs and you good to go
Thank you so much for this very helpful video! My machine works again :)
Great, happy to help. Thank you for your comment.
@@GPTV2020 Oh no! But now, just before the washing machine has finished, I get the error E09 :( Did you had this problem too?
@@altro_productions1 I've had that before, e09 could be a problem with the motor, the triac the main bord, you'd need to take it out and solder a new one on, its a bit fiddly. But it also could be just too much carbon build up around the motor. I actually never fixed mine it just went away. Dose the washing machine spin at all.
@@GPTV2020 Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure I know what I've done wrong now. When I extended the spring of the brushes I also switched the sides of both (The left one to the right. Right to the left). Now I switched them back and it seems like it works just fine :)
@@altro_productions1 if it goes again try to clean as much of the carbon from the motor and any electrical bit's, but if it still keeps happening look up how to change the triac. Hopefully it keeps working for you until you get the new brushes.
Thank you so much. Worked a charm. Appreciate your help!
@@kristonwhite good stuff gled to help.
Great video mate.
A link to the brushes would be fantastic.
@@shayes1199 thanks alot, i left a link to the brushes i needed in the description below. Cheers for your comment.
Exactly the same symptoms, one brush was stuck in with dust, sorted 👌
Grand, you should get another few weeks out of it so just buy the new brushes to have them for when it does go.

Super helpful video, thanks man💪
Some man for one man, same thing with mine and wash is happening. Where do you order brushes themselves?
@@mariuspm i have a link in the description for the brushes for my model of machine. Thanks for your comment.
@@GPTV2020thank you, you gave me some easy points with a missus.
This worked 🎉🎉🎉 I swear I could kiss you right now 😂
@@kellz5135 🤣 i Don't think my wife would approve!
@GPTV2020 🤣 I'm Sure. But just happy, grateful, thankful kisses...thank you soo much!
Thanks mate you saved my £££
These brushes use to cost £1 or so, standard brushes can be fitted inside as I recall
Yes, that's right, there are different shape brush housings but most of the brushes can be swapped in the housing rather than buy the housing too but they are so cheap that including the housing its only around 12 euro for a set.
Mine spins slowly, but wont go into a 'FAST' spin?...any ideas? -Thanx - :)
@@MRROBBIEWATTS if could be too much it the drum so it will have an uneven weight or check out the filter, it could need to be cleaned out, if there is too much water in the drum it will not spin full speed so the filter could be blocked.
@@GPTV2020 - hey thanx! - :)
Can this be considered a “Spinoff” from usual car content
The name of the channel is "gptv" not " i just fix cars" 🤣
This comment was draining 😂
@@TheMangohammer i just brush it off! Lol
Still no changes also changed motor
Motor spin every 5 minutes and stop
@@mohsiigaming4212 maybe you need to just get new brushes, yours are too far gone.
