Find someone who really puts Jesus first, really understands the Gospel and cherishes the Gospel even more knowing that he/she will be hated by the world because of it.
This kind of person is very rare indeed. Other issues are not big in the long run.

for other people going through a time of singleness, its important to point out that this is also a great and holy time in your life, where you have a lot more time to give to the Lord. paul talks a few times about being single and how it is a great opportunity to really love God. it is hard but if you want a relationship with another person more than you want God, then you maybe don't quite have it right.

this is random but can you do a video about how you view food/exercise maybe? how often do you eat desserts or exercise/how to not make body image an idol but also take care of yourself I guess? or even like a healthy recipes I eat or what I eat in a day video. I know you don't do health and fitness stuff on this channel but thats why Im asking I think I need to see a video of a "normal" or something and definitely from a christian perspective. especially since summer is coming up I think its on a lot of girls minds maybe and would be helpful idk!

I don't think I can explain good enough to you, cause english is not my mothertongue, I live in Brazil, and I don't know if you will believe this,
But this is insane! I HAVE (BASICALLY) THE SAME STORY THAN YOU! The part of, leaving the church for a matter of doctrine and having just one guy that thinks the same way, and we eventually have followed in love for each other, BUT the deal with me is: I am still in the church. And he as well.
We don't have an option, to go now.
But as we are organizing things to get married, we will eventually live this church and go to a more biblical one.

The Bible tells us that it is good to find a wife, it doesn't say there is a soulmate for you. Your fiance or current spouse can leave at any moment, humans are not perfect and change over time, he may be a monster in 3 years: you really don't know. Save these kinds of videos for after the 10 year marriage mark

I have been thinking that I have not met a single Godly person. I am literally in tears. I'm around your age. My cousins have been asking me about my relationship status. I have not been very hopeful these days. It's still difficult for me but in all my days God is good.
You are right, God is good! Don’t be discouraged, keep trusting the Lord. Everything will be done in its divine timing, including a relationship. As for loneliness, there is a whole community of believers in the Internet who love you (that’s us 😊!). You’re not alone

Amen to "don't settle/compromise". God is able to do "far exceedingly above all that we ask or think"!
For 2 years when I left school I was unemployed (and utterly miserable). I had no idea what I wanted to do or be, but had very high expectations and in neglecting my relationship with the Lord I felt very self willed and sure that I could make my own way, in my own strength.
Over those 2 years, the Lord gently broke me down, so that I came to the darkest point in my history where I finally realised my nothingness, and my great need of Him. I had no strength left, and so He became my everything.
I was kneeling on the bathroom floor that day after a bad panic attack, tears streaming down my face and I just prayed "Lord give me anything, I will sweep the streets if I have to. Whatever you need for me to do, I'll do it". It took me a long time to get to that point of surrender but I have never felt so transformed as I did after I finally surrendered everything that day. And when I looked up from my place on the floor to the window, there was a cloud in the perfect shape of a love heart, slowly moving across the otherwise cloudless blue sky! That was such a powerful reminder to me of Who God was, and it was like He was in the room with me at that point. The cloud was like His arms just wrapping around me and holding me tight.
The same week He sent me to an interview for a position I never imagined I would be able to obtain, and I got the job two days later. I'm now in a career that gives me such joy- it's certainly far more than I ever thought, hoped or prayed for.
Jesus knows what we want, what we need, who we need and when. Trusting Him daily and anchoring ourselves in Him is so important. Like you said about the ladder- trusting in ourselves only leads to us falling flat on our faces (as I proved in those two horrible- yet looking back, truly beautiful- years!)
So just as the Lord worked out all things for good as to my employment (which seemed so impossible at the start), I'm trusting Him as to a husband. Its seems impossible to me that anyone would want to spend the rest of their life with me, and I'm always compromising in my mind, but our God is good, faithful and true to His word. He knows how to give good gifts to His children!

My boyfriend and I love walking and talking as well! We have our best conversations when we're out in God's creation!
How I knew? Well I did not know...I just fell in love and tried to win her. Of course we prayed. But romantism might have been more important than prayer. (God is very romantic too!) Of course we both wanted someone that loves Jesus. We married nearly three years later after Bibleschool. Waited with sex until we were married - God gave us grace and strength!) And now I think she is the right one.. .: Still happy after 41 years and our love and our dedication to Jesus is growing. God be praised.
Well... Thanks to my wife too....! I'm not a Saint yet.... But our church is great! And Jesus is wonderful.

I have been engaged twice and married once. My record isn't too impressive, but I would say try and work on the skills you need for being married. A wedding lasts a day, your marriage should last a lifetime. Work on conflict resolution skills, compromise and expecting to go to bed with each other when you absolutely hate each other. Learn to ask the question, "Do I want to die on this hill," meaning, "Is this worth arguing about?" Learn to say, "I'm sorry, I should not have done that and I won't do it again," and mean it. Travel together for a week with only one pair of clothes and $100 to live off of. No deodorant, no toothbrush, no toothpaste. Trust me, you will have less than $100 to live off of for at least one week in your life. Being uncomfortable is part of life. Learn that Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV) is the secret to a successful marriage.

Just remember, God's purpose isn't our happiness, it's that Jesus Christ be glorified. This also applies to marriage. So I wish you two a blessed rest of your lives together!
I’m so happy for you! I had the same confidence with my fiancé that I’d marry him. I knew in only 4 months of dating 3 years ago and now we’re getting married in 3 weeks on our third year anniversary! He wasn’t everything I wanted in a man but God knew what I needed and he’s so much more than I could’ve ever wanted for myself. So glad I left my love life in God’s hands ❤️

I got engaged recently too to a wonderful guy i met in my university cafeteria almost two years ago. I was a sophomore he was a senior. He’s the sweetest thing ever😊 we love doing ministry and I can’t see a life without him in it. I came to the US from Jamaica in 2018 on a track scholarship. never thought my life would take the direction it did but boy is God awesome! He wasn’t exactly what imagined for my life at first but he is who i need and I’m good over here! Lol.😊❤️Our love prevails through the worst and I am so excited 🤗for the journey of our future that God has for us! We have grown and are growing so much. All glory to God. His will and timing is perfect.

I'm so happy for you! I met someone like this.. But God is also telling me to slow down and focus on him (I tend to make idols out of people) and where he is leading me and I am SO glad I did that at this time! Everything is working out just fine, with the guy and with other things. I kind of feel I am moving at warp speed with growth right now but :) I feel at peace.

I was 5 years of chronic illness! I was Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work.
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. ✝️🔥😊

As a 30 yo who has never dated and has always wanted that relationship where we push each other towards God, I know I have to trust Him and His perfect timing but... It's a challenge. And I feel like for those who have been in relationships even if they didn't work, its very different.
I'm kind of sad that there is so little talk about being single by choice among christians. In the comments people seem to wait eagerly that God will provide a spouse. Not saying that it's wrong, but I sincerely believe that some are called to singleness. I used to pray that God would give me a husband, and seeked a relationship although I had a tiny tiny feeling that I should stay single, I should be content. After I ended my first relationship (because he wasn't a christian) I finally had the strength to stay single. I feel content now, at peace. I just wish more people would realise that perhaps their calling isn't married life, a family, but single life. That it's not something to be ashamed of.

Even though I'm only 16, I found someone who is a big Christian like I am almost more. We aren't able to see each other much because he lives and hour and a half away, but I already know I'm going to marry him someday. But I can't say that to people because I'm only 16 and people don't take me seriously

Great video and I liked hearing how you and Brady met. The only thing I wanted to say is you said most people don't care about doctrine in the church and you were really surprised because Brady did just like you do, I want to correct you on that kindly. I believe the vast majority of people do care about doctrine. I know I do and that is what the church teaches. Maybe they don't use the term doctrine, but I can guarantee you that at least 70 percent of people going to church do care about the beliefs taught at the church and want them to be aligned with scripture.
I agree! Well said. I loved this video, but that one comment about doctrine made me uncomfortable. It's true that maybe not everyone knows how to define doctrine, and may not be clear on certain doctrinal issues, because they are tricky issues where people vary in their opinions / interpretations of the bible, and even are still working through that for themselves. But I think a lot of people care about sound biblical teaching and the most helpful way to teach the bible and stay true to its intended message.
I would have loved a home like that as a foster kid 😊
