Trish is absolutely right about the statement "once an addict, always an addict." I'm a recovering addict. I used heroin for several years. At this point in my life, Ive been sober for 16 years. Being sober is cool. I still have my struggles and demons. I'm not perfect.....far from it. Relapse can happen to anyone at any time at any point inside or outside of recovery. Always praying for those still sick and suffering as well as those in recovery!❤️

I’m a fentanyl addict in recovery and I feel the same way. It’s not easy, I only have four months right now, and everything feels like it’s still falling apart from my choices when I was using. I went to go get my fingerprints done for a job this week and I was picked up on a warrant for something I did in July that I had completely forgotten about when I was high on dope and benzos..it can feel so lonely..and so hopeless and all I wanna do is use most days..but I’m sticking through this and accepting what I did wrong. I have five pending charges right now from when I was using and I’m gonna prove to the court and to myself that I can stay clean even through this stress!! Thanks for sharing your story and inspiring ME!!
@@amberwagner2459 four months is amazing. Be proud of yourself. The past is the past. Stay present and keep looking forward to a life free from addiction. There will be plenty of time to make amends, but right now one day at a time. Surround yourself with good people and keep seeking out that support. I believe you can do this. Yes, it’s hard, but you will have a life beyond your wildest dreams. Praying for you, love.

Do it. I didn’t try them until now I’m 37 and my wife would always get them and I didn’t understand why. I had my first one rite after the new year and now I crave them. Mind you I don’t eat any type of fish!! Haha it’s the bun! It’s so damn soft airy and buttery!!
They’re soooo good. I mean it’s basically just a fish stick in a square shape on a bun with tartar sauce

OMG I haven't eaten a fish fillet in YEARS! As a kid, whenever we went to McDonald's my mom didn't let me chose the menu and always got me the fish fillet with the happy meal...Idk why, but my parents went through a fish diet for a few years when I was a kid, it was kinda weird but eventually they got over it lmao
That took a turn about the drug discussion. But I love that she addressed it. She’s proud of her life changing decision and she should celebrate herself like that 😌💜

when making the baked potatoes you can also just poke some holes in it with a fork, put some butter and salt on the outside like normal, and put it in the microwave for 8-9 minutes and saves you an hour versus putting it in the oven.

Thank you for sharing about addiction and alcoholism. Im in treatment and I feel sad people judged me during my active using or drinking. I try so hard everyday to not go back down dangerous paths and wish people knew how much of a struggle it is daily when an addict to continue to stay sober. Once an addict always an addict. So true trish! Your mukbang had me order McDonald's and sit and eat with you while im in treatment house to wok on my recovery. Love you forever! Being sober is cool, feel all the feelings and if anyone's struggling please ask for help. It's not weak and it's out there for you. Love you all

First and foremost I commend Trish for opening up and being an inspiration for others as myself to stop whatever it is that they are addicted to. Two….. I believe she was speaking of Aaron Carter when she referred to a friend passing last year of addiction. I had the opportunity a couple of times to speak to Aaron about addiction. He was a human being who was battling inner demons which won over him at the end. I pray for anyone who sees this and has an addiction many warm wishes and blessings to a better tomorrow. I get the whole addict thing you're saying. Even though I've been sober for almost 7 years, it's like I still get addicted to TV shows or foods or my coffee. I will binge it then get tired of it, sometimes not even eat or watch ever again and then I normally fall into a new thing to be addicted to. It's wild. I definitely have an addictive personality. I've realized that many years ago.

@joanna7350 I think the fries depend on the location or how fresh they are. Like some mcdonald's will have cold fries with almost no salt every time you get some.

A lot of addicts that I’ve known do it because of unresolved past traumas and being very lonely and sad in the moment. People demonize addicts but they’re just people that need help. But also know you can’t trust an addict either because when they are in the state their main fixation is getting drugs not being honest to you.
You can get help and deserve it.

I appreciate you bringing up addiction, and the fact that really great people are addicts. For so long addiction has been judged as a character flaw, and not the disease it is. This leads to shame, which ultimately kills a lot of people struggling with addiction. Your honesty and compassion may just help someone get help. That’s a very awesome thing.

She’s lost friends, and people are dying as I write this. You can’t help yourself though, huh? Your tunnel vision is astounding.
