IS the image once on the shirt soft and flexible? Also is Photoshop the software that you use to prepare the images before printing? Or is there something else that you are using before printing? I have a Canon LBP623CDW printer and I want to make sure the colors are vibrant for my dark garments and that they are soft on the shirt and flexible, I do not want a plastic or crinkly sound on the image once it is applied to the shirt. Advise on these questions please.
Hi theoretically you can use any software, we often use Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

I have the same printer you are using in the video, but if I try to do two passes, the allignment is always off.
Please make sure that you have some paper in the tray and that you prepare you file right.

@@leonispublishing7130 We use 5-8 sheets. We also noticed that you will have a perfect alignment when you run the A-Foil one time without printing before you start.

That's why it makes sense to by an actual white toner printer like Uninet or Oki.

If you are transferring to a white t-shirt. Do you still have to use the white toner? Or can you just print CMKY on the A-foil and the use the B-foil backing on the back of the color print without the white over print?

of course you can also transfer with CMYK on white textiles.

So you use the stock toner that comes with the laser printer and change out the black to white for undercoat to make this work? But this has to be done on specific foil sheets?

No! The PageWide Series is an Office Inkjet Printer. We only support laser printers.

No, not with Ghost White Toner. We might launch this Toner some point in the future!

Yes of course. This will speed up you process a lot! You can also try to make 2-3 A & B Transfers at the same time depending on your press.

Good luck with the multi trans with your HP 150 I tried it on my HP M452 DN, and it jams every time However I have found one that does work with no issues at all.

What are the advantages of this over a good quality inkjet transfer? Is the transfer thinner and does it have a softer feel? Certainly it looks a longer process than inkjet
Inkjet Transfers are great but you will always need a cutter and to weed you design. This becomes tricky and time consuming in very detailed designs. This is one of the areas where Toner Transfer is a great application.

greetings... what is the wash durability on this ghost toner laser toner process? Fading as washes are done? cracking issues? Ive been interested in the laser toner option just recently but seems like there are not many people using this method vs DTG/Screen Printing/HTV options of printing.
The final cotton T-Shirt washes between 35-45 times if washed correctly.
Is the ghost white toner compatible with the m454? The dimensions are almost the same as the m452
No unfortunatley not. But we will work on this model. The Canon LBP620 Series is compatible and works great!
Do I have to change all my toners to this brand or can I only switch the white one?
You will start with the White one. You can use the regular CMYK Toners. Once you buy our CMYK you will notice that these work better in transfer applications.

Not really. Of course the heavier the design is you will feel the transfer.

When I print the second sheet (the white layer) it wrinkles and the toner messes up on the page. The first print works fine.

this looks and sounds amazing, but it seems like the overall cost for a t-shirt would be way more expensive than a vinyl t-shirt since now you have to factor in the cost for the a-paper and b-paper no?
Yes the cost are higher but you can do far more detailed designs plus mulit color!

Hallo liebes Ghost Team, ich habe eine Frage.
Ich möchte weiße Buchstaben drucken, der erste Buchstabe soll mit einem roten Viereck unterlegt sein, darauf der Buchstabe in weiß. Wie wäre hier das vorgehen ? Erst das Viereck in rot drucken, dann die Kartusche (schwarz gegen weiß) tauschen und dann die Buchstaben ? Muss ich vielleicht eine Maske für alles machen wo dann alles noch einmal in Weiß gedruckt wird ?
Ich weiß, es gibt sicher eine ganz einfache Art und Weise, aber manche fangen erst neu an, und da sollte man schon so kleine Sachen lernen :)
In manchen Videos habe ich auch gesehen das Standard gedruckt wird, dann das Bild in schwarz / weiß in Photoshop umgewandelt und dann invertiert wurde. Danach wurde in weiß gedruckt.

Ich bin zwar nicht von Ghost, hab aber nen entsprechenden Drucker.
Ich hab mit eine Farbtabelle gedruckt, mit weissen Toner drin. Dadurch weiss ich dann, wie ich die Farben anlegen muss, damit sie auch ohne schwarzem Toner so aussehen, wie ich will.
Dann kannst du sowas auf einmal drucken wenn der Rot-Ton auch mit weissem Druck möglich ist.
Wenn das Rot den schwarzen Toner braucht, musst du vorgehen, wie du sagst, alternativ auch anders rum
Hallo! Grundsätzlich hast du den Vorgang richtig beschrieben. Alles was am Bildschirm schwarz ist wird in weiß gedruckt wenn der White Toner im Drucker ist. Manuels Anwort unten ist natürlich auch richtig. Je nach Farbton kannst du auch Farbe und Weiß gleichzeitig drucken.

hi, for sublimation printing it is used poliester only! For white toner transfer it doesnt matter if its poliester, cotton, mixed, ect. you can use whatever you want.

Okay so basically i print the image with the black cartridge first and then put in the white toner cartridge and print that again in order for the white to appear on dark garments... However, when i do so, the alignment won't be a 100% accurate with the previous print.. HELP!

I read through the comments, but the responses are not as clear as I would like. Question 1: Can I use the Ghost white toner with the HP factory toner, or do I need to have Ghost CMYK to go with Ghost White? Question 2: Can the printer be used to print paper with the HP toner and then used to print transfers with the Ghost toners or will I need to dedicate the printer to Ghost?
hi, you can use the white toner in combination with the CMY colour toners from the print manufacturer without any problems and you don't have to change anything.
We only recommend increasing the toner coverage in the printer settings to +5 for HP on the colour channels and to +8 for Canon if you want to transfer.
It is as simple as in our videos, you take out the black toner and put in the white toner, done.
This is not a problem, but we do not recommend that you use the Ghost toners for normal office applications such as printing invoices or similar. For this, I would only use the CMYK colour toners from the printer manufacturer.

hi, we used a HP m452, but the principle is the same for all printers
Siet ich 2015 mit Textildruck angefangen habe, ist der Flexdruck mein Steckenpferd. Jetzt hab ich ein paar Videos von euch gesehen und bin einfach nur baff! Vor allem auch, weil ihr sogar Neon-Farben (und sogar glow in the dark) anbietet und das mein Produktportfolio perfekt ergänzen würde.
Wie schaut es eigentlich mit der Langlebigkeit der Drucke aus?
Ich gehe meinen Kunden zuliebe mit meinen Shirts sehr hart ins Gericht und wasche meine Shirts gerne mit 40-60° ohne sie linksherum zu drehen, um zu testen, was meine Drucke aushalten. Den nich will, dass meine Kunden was für ihr Geld bkeommen. Würde mich sehr über ein kurzes Feedback freuen. Von mir aus auch gerne auf englisch, damit andere Follower die Antwort nachvollziehen können.

Die Waschbarkeit liegt bei 35-50 Wäschen. Es muss auf jeden Fall kalt (max. 30°C) gewaschen werden. Das ganze hängt mit den Transferpapieren zusammen. Außerdem empfehlen wir die Sachen nicht zu Trocknen und zu nicht zu Schleudern!
What are the differences between this printer and the oki t shirt printer?
The basic difference is that for printing CMYK + White you will run two print passes with Ghost. OKI comes with a RIP software making this possible in one pass.
Hey. My ghost white toner is printing blue/grayish from my m254dw. I am trying to print on black cardstock from my design program called cricut. Any idea how I can fix this so it prints only white? Can't figure it out..

Depends on how you wash. If washed cold without tumble dry it will last beyond 50 washes
Was the imaged used vectored out ?
No. This was an image file opened in Photoshop and saved as PDF. You can of course use vector images even better.
Are you printing in Adobe Acrobat?
In our videos we print from Mac Preview but Adobe should work just fine
is it possible to use CMY+W and print at 1 pass , do not print twice. i think it's little complicated way. print at once color & white like OKI laser. may be rip software also needed. but .. i think that's better way.
No, not with the HP printers. At some point the printer will always mix black into your colors as it is just an office machine. If you want to do this you will have to invest more money for a more advanced printer.

HELP PLEASE. I have a 5x5mm Logo in all white I tried over 18 times already. (9 per sheet) Setup: HP M255DW, Ghost White Toner, Forever Laser Dark no cut. Everything is perfect. B to A is perfect (120s glue transfer). But after I transfer the design onto my t-shirt, I wait until its completely cold and I cannot peel it! Rips the design every time! the edges of the design are really stuck to the A sheet no matter how I peel it. I tried different pressure settings but nothing works.. And when I try to peel it when it's slightly hot, the design comes off.. Please help :(

What kind of heat press do you use ?
We use SEFA, Secabo, Aadkins, HPD, all kinds of brands. The transfer works with most cheap clam presses. Of course a swing aways does always make things easier. We made a video on the presses we have in our workshop here: ua-cam.com/video/3WCnJQgvaYs/v-deo.html
Can you use that same printer and Ghost White Toner with FOREVER TransferRIP?
No. The Forever TransferRIP only works with OKI printers so far.

@@keepyourfeetofftheseat8563 It depends weather you are using the RIP of UniNet or not. For Logos, Text, Designs prints there is no difference. Also in the color repoduction, whiteness and washfastness. The RIP gives you some advantages in the printing process and in the soft hand of the final product if the design is a photographic image. Let's put it this way: Ghost is a perfect entry level solution with great quality to set you up - if you have a higher volume to produce and make a lot of photograpic prints you might benefit from a UniNet.

The best setting is "Foil opak" for paper in the printer driver!
@@Ghost-White-Toner ich habe mir den cp5225n bestellt. muss ich jetzt nur den whit toner kaufen oder muss ich für den transfer alle farben neu kaufen ?
weil die sind noch komplett voll und das wäre schade wenn es nicht mit den originalen klappen würde.
@@chrisp8181 Die normalen Toner funktionieren für den Anfang auch. Beim verbinden von A&B wirst du mit unseren Tonern etwas bessere Ergebnisse haben. Aber das ist dann wie ein kleine Uppgrade ;-)

Ich benutze auch eine HP CP 5225 und den Weisse Layer ist immer Versetzt von den erste Farbige Druck. Wie soll ich das losen? Foil opak gibt es nicht zu einstelen. Was soll ich benutzen?

Zeigt mal bitte ein Foto nachdem die Shirts ein paar mal gewaschen sind. So grossflächige Motive sind bei mir oft nach einmal Waschen nicht mehr schön.
Sie haben das Foto gerastert, damit es gut gewaschen wird. (I hope I did ok ...my German is not so good..and I used google translate :/ )
