It's becoming harder for clubs to sell their players due to the increase in wage demands and stubborn clubs who want to make a positive return on overly-expensive players. Joe investigates this matter through the use of table tennis, mangos and sad accountants.

This is actually false, real life is just like Fifa. As soon as you don't want a player, a team from the 7th Hungarian division will give you an offer, and that player will go there, taking an 80% pay cut in the process. It really is that easy

This is how it works.
If the fans don't like the player that is insisting on honouring his contract then that player is greedy and has no ambition for refusing to join a worse club on lower money.
If the player is a top performer who wants to break his contract then that player is a mercenary who has no loyalty for wanting to join a better club on more money.

How long until Tifo IRL moves to Sky? As a Palace fan football is much like an un ripe mango or playing table tennis outside in the winter joyous but gruelling. Tifo is like being given a blender and turning that mango into a daiquiris or being given a brand new ball for that outside winter table tennis table (this bit actually pushed the tears out). 2 disagreements with your Accountant analogy:
1. Ask the same question to the Accountant if he is not getting to do any Accounts work. Regardless of the fact that they are getting paid, not many elite professionals should want to still remain if made to sit uselessly in the office.
2. An accountant shall mind if made to move from an exotic tropical setting to Hull. But an elite footballer who's making wages that are 10x of the Accountant's CEO, should not mind if his wages come down to 5x if he at least gets to play and redevelop his love of the game.

I tried to explain these concepts to a Barcelona fan a month or so ago. He was convinced that they would just sell a load of players, renegotiate a load of existing contracts and resign Messi - just like that - everything would be sorted in a few weeks. Well we all know what happened, and that Barcelona fan is probably still in denial.

Actually unripe mangos are a delicacy in my country (Honduras). We add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce
The difference with the table tennis table analogy is that you're not spending 100k every week to keep it in your garden doing nothing, so even selling it for a fiver would be in your best interest.
It seems to me that the transfermarket has become a huge mess. Nowadays we talk about players that are only able to go to 3 clubs only (City, Chelsea and PSG). Players become more and more expensieve in wages and transfer fee. If this continue, then only 3 clubs are able to sign the best players. So is there a chance that the transfermarket will be changed in a better way of some sorts in the near future, or are we on a verge of collapse here?
