I've been to several KSR shows. It's usually mediocre trucks on a mediocre track but they actually are a ton of fun and they actually attract a lot of people lol. I'm actually going to one in about a month and I'm pretty excited.
Well this one of the most baffling shows I have ever seen. First, Adam Gates owns a black/red Ford van on 66's that resembles something from 1981 that runs a few events a year so no surprise he would build something in the same vein that seemingly is perfectly optimized for this type of layout. Second, that racing course is a joke. I get supporting monster trucks and shows whenever possible but that was a weird decision that was all buildup with no climax. It clearly worked for Big Brown and probably for leafer/early tube chassis trucks but with current age trucks it makes them look like they can only run at 50%. Even if that isn't the case it looks like it. Just my opinion. Freestyle course had some bright spots but that forward facing car stack on a track that won't allow cross threading just looks baffling since the drivers can only use it in two directions. Looks like a decent starter show or a good recording of trucks for posterity but for indie shows Renegade MT Tour is where its at
Man, that Big Brown truck is so tall! I wouldn't dare turn quickly with that high of a center of gravity.
The brown monster truck kind of look like the old school monster truck
Fun fact, Webslinger was the old Zombie Sniper, which was in turn the old Thrasher
I love indy events like this, weird ass trucks in the middle of no where lmao
