My goodness!! I have visited that store. Simply awesome place to purchase items. Just awesome!!! Glad you visited The Dutch Pantry. PA is full of stories like this. There are a few in KY. Thank you Shane and Melody.
Y’all need to also visit the Walker Valley Market, on VA 42 about 6 miles west of where it intersects with VA 100 South of Pearisburg, VA. It is owned and run by the Amish families who live and farm near there. The pantry, market and deli at Walker Valley look very similar to this Dutch Pantry, but Walker Valley Market also features lots of beautiful hand-made furniture.
Thanks for the wholesome content and God Bless, Fam. Shane, I think you owe Melody a trip up North to the Aron-daks. Maybe Vermont or New Hampshire in the fall?
i seen the rib eye price you said i just shipped some steers for steaks and roasts in wisconsin and i averaged $1.36 a pound. cows i shipped for hamburger on 1-2-24 i averaged 75 cents a pound
Hey there! Born and raised in Virginia! When you said Yoders it caught my attention immediately as my Mama lived in Louisa for many years. She loved Yoders and so did I. We used to go there when I would visit. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing! God Bless and Merry Christmas
Wow had lunch there on the way home from Knoxville just two weeks ago. We had the "Vern" on a grilled jalapeño cheddar wrap and a club sandwich on toasted sourdough bread. Sat at the table around the side by the ice cream walk up. Nothing like this place in the flat boring endless suburbia of SE VA
Ya'll help me plan my adventures. From the last episode, I want to take my little boat to Rural Retreat Lake... and after this episode, I know where I can pick up food. Ya'll should have a book signing at this store.
Love that area, thanks for covering such beautiful places. There's a small restaurant that's on the other side of Lee Highway just a bit more north that absolutely has the best breakfast and coffee called Java Blend Cafe. It's also owned and operated by an Amish family.
I love this place! We’ve had lunch there several times. Looks like they’ve made some changes since we were there last. You are so right that you can’t leave there empty handed. A loaf of sourdough bread always comes home with us. Thanks for taking us along. 😊
This place is definitely on my list of places to stop on my next trip from GA to WV. Been through the area hundreds of times over the years and never knew this place existed. Thanks for sharing it.
Wow. That place looks really nice. That garlic/dill cheddar cheese sounds really good. There's a huge buffet in Lancaster County, PA called Shady Maple. The giftshop on the lower level was like a Christian book store. It was really nice. Man, I'd be going to that Dutch Pantry all the time if I lived close. Nice place. Thanks for the tour.
I’m not going to check but I am absolutely sure y’all made me gain weight just watching this video! 😂

There are stores like that in Lancaster Co PA. It's very hard to leave empty handed. Thank you Melody and Shane.
Definitely a bucket list stop ...
Wow...excellent you two. Gosh, I gained a couple pounds just looking at all that food. :)
It's a great place to go. I go up every so ofter and get a ruben. They have great food, and yes, Dutchess milk is the best.
What a cool place! Thanks guys for letting us tag along
Bacon Dressing! It’s so yummy!
Look at that candy isle.....I'd be in trouble 😅❤
Man I would leave that store with WAY more goodies, then my chunky azz needs. LOL

I love working down that way just for lunch time! Also grab lunch on the weekends there!

I used to stop there pretty often for lunch when I was visiting a client. I forgot all about it! Those lunches looked yummy!
I love this place and those like it in PA and OH Amish towns!

When it comes to food I never come out empty handed. I like my chocolate. Thanks for the tour.
Cheese has always been my go to snack, til I developed lactose intolerance in my older age😢
Good to know there is no food shortage in this store. Great video!
All kinds of goodies 😊
