Everything I say is based only on the anime, and I find what I've been told about the manga ending truly distasteful. I apologize for not being aware of that, if I had been, this video certainly never would have been produced
I don't think you have anything to apologize for. You gave your take on the anime, not the manga. The two can be viewed separately. The existence of the manga, or the bizarre direction that it takes, doesn't make this video any less impactful. You've given me, and surely many others a different perspective on life, and I for one, am grateful for that. Thank you.
No worries honestly. So many anime adaptions are distinct from the source material anyway. In this case most people who watched the anime had zero idea about what the manga turned into.
Don’t worry. Sadly anime/manga all of it is a series of trials and tribulations to find the good shit. Thankfully you don’t have to ruin your experience with the manga blindsiding you. I loved the anime, still do to an extent, but yeah…. Anything further than that I run far far away
Don't be so hard on yourself. You didn't know and anyone could've made the same mistake; I've made that mistake w/so many anime. You've done nothing wrong 😊
I made the extremely poor decision to stop watching this video midway through because "I didn't want to be spoiled anymore on this fantastic story", and thought the best method would be to read the manga... I've finished the manga now. I'm traumatised. For what it's worth, the anime/first part of the manga is phenomenal. It is a fantastic exploration of parenthood, and I'm glad I read it. The second part has made me sad that someone, responsible for the first part, could think anything like the second part is ok. The greatest anime ever that I'm so glad didn't get a second season!
Bro this one hit home so hard for me. I don’t have kids but I help with my friends daughter. She’s basically my niece and life wouldn’t be anywhere near as bright without her. Another amazing watch professor.

I really do appreciate you making the point of being aware and angry about the things and could and or should change but as someone who is working to enjoy the smaller parts of life or enjoy doing the things I have to do like either laundry, the dishes he’ll even feeding myself at times it’s great to hear that I’m not alone and I hope to actively try to better my life in small ways each and every day, great video as always ^^
pp funny how this mindset is what ive been trying to focus on recently, and removing music from different activities has been very useful in becoming more aware throughout the day. Hope you have a good weekend!
I've actually been trying to swap from having videos playing to having music playing more, funnily enough. Not cutting out background watching, but not using it to be less aware anymore, like it sometimes can be. Finding a song that feels right for the mood and thinking as I work through those activities leads to so many better ideas

Now do a video on the manga after the anime ends. Lots of people have had a lot of opinions on it. I view it similarly to Jobless Reincarnation where if you ignore the ~5% that's abhorrent it's great but even with that 5% it drags it down to mearly fine. Note that I'm reading the novels and have completed the 3rd about the first part of season 1
@@ProfessorViral Lol when did you find out? Was it after you posted it and people started asking or was it when the video was ~90% done and you were beyond the point of no return?
Already changed the title? Well either way I wanted to say that I watch these for your thoughts and analysis, I personally don’t like anime, however I do like listening to another’s mind.
I have a horrible habit of not testing how well a title will do, and just going with what sounds good, only to see the video start horribly and have to change it to fix that. I actually truly hate doing it, because it's the "youtube meta" now or something like that, but it can save a video from bombing if you see the title and thumbnail not doing well. But, I think its very fair to watch for the analysis and not the series themselves, and I'm glad to see it even. It's good to know that my thoughts can extend beyond just anime, and be beneficial for others outside of that scope. I do hope to one day simply write on my own, so its encouraging
And then the manga pulled that awful G**d*mn ending. Shame, since I always thought the ending would be your stock "letting the bird leaves the nest", but with complete approval from everyone since this father- daughter pairing is quite unusual. Well, we can all dream.
Show seems really cute then I scroll down to the comments and remember you can't have any Juveniles in Manga without the artist being a fucking weirdo about it.
Hey did you atleast look up a house in fata morgana its fine if you didn't not tryna tell you to do something or anything but I just think its a massive waste of potential for you to not look at it believe me when I say your gurunteed to love it as a story
Preach! By the way can you please list the anime featured in the vid? I would really appreciate if you did that! :) Also youtube had deleted my previous comment on your channel where I said that the ghouls from Tokyo Ghouls are parasites, just like cancer cells.

loved this series. wish I'd never read the manga.
I won't be touching that with a 30 mile pole. If I had known of the manga ending, I wouldn't have produced this video at all
@@ProfessorViral Lol when did you find out?
I wasn't aware of the manga at all until the comments mentioned it. It's really terrible to see that's how it went in print form
Too much 3d. Breaking to the speaker is jarring.
This intro had Durarara, Haibane Renmei, Psycho Pass, Spy Family, Perfect Blue, FLCL Alternative, Land of the Lustrous, A Place Further than the Universe, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, Sonny Boy, and Fate/Zero (ending on Durarara again) in that order
Don't read the manga. Never ever read the manga. Don't get Ussagi-dropped.
Engag
Thanks!
Not Usagi Drop 🤢
Unfortunately I wasn't aware of where the manga went at all. Had I known, it wouldn't have been a series Id cover
Who or what is "Usagi"? @@ProfessorViral
I think the anime is a different beast and no one is faulting you for covering it. The anime is the wholesome lovely show you talked about. I really wouldnt worry about it too much @@ProfessorViral
