I feel for him, I remember marching in parades back in high school in SW Florida heat in the upper 80’s and I wasn’t wearing the heavy band uniform with the heavy hats! One parade I nearly passed out when we came to a halt after continuous marching for an hour, so totally unexpected! I was fine until we stopped. I honestly can’t imagine what those uniforms must be like, I have absolutely the utmost respect and admiration for all of them, and zero shame for any who are overcome with heat. Anybody who does can suck it!😾 It’s wonderful to watch them, well done!😻💂♂️
I'm so glad the young guard asked permission to seek medical care. I hope he doesn't get docked in any way. These ceremonies and traditions are gorgeous, BUT when the temp is 35 plus, with heavy tunics and bearskin hats, it's got to be unbearable.
