Hey, BMW. Think you all could make a video regarding software updates for iD7? I know videos are out there, however we need a video that isn't purposely vague. In-depth videos, like the ones you all have been releasing over the past few weeks have been SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT over the past. Give the social media team my thanks.
I have to admit that the more often I look at the IX, the more I like it. I would say it looks so advanced because it is so extroverted and special, unlike an EQS or even the IX3.
The automatic parking recording feature only works during the day. My iX doesn’t recognise the recorded path at night. Even though the system uses GPS and cameras to recognise the path.
I own the ix50 and Parking Assist simply DOES NOT WORK, nor does Record Path option! Very frustrating, but anytime I choose Park Assist and then select reverse, the car takes control of the wheel, goes into reverse, the PASSES the spot I was looking to park the car in then just crazily drives for a while while in reverse. Ugh😮 Then with recorded path, even though I have recorded my path a few times of leaving my own driveway, when I call up start recorded path, it almost crashes into a wall alongside my home until I have to take control of the damned thing. Sadly, this option is inoperable for me.

Starting to think BMW have forgotten all about the i4 and moved on to i5, i7 & IX. Maybe Porsche will put more effort towards its entire ev customer base. The roll out of new features and the idrive 8.5 says it all.

You sure it wasn’t just UA-cam? That happened to me all the time. When your comment gets hidden or deleted, you don’t notice a thing. But it’s when UA-cam deletes it.
Recently, Taiwan BMW has announced iX1 is able to purchase parking assistant pro, but, if your iX1 production date before Feb 2024 is impossible to purchase this service. The feature only available for production date after March 2024 and s/w version upgrade to 7/2024. I dont understand why BMW make this so decision….. they said OS9 is a new platform and user can purchase service from store balabala….. but the reality is completely opposite. Does anyone one heard about this information? I just wondering to know why production date in 2023/11-2024/02 but the same platform OS9 can not have this feature….

These videos by BMW are the worst pieces of instruction I have ever encountered. THey spend enormouse time with their spastic camera jumping around. The distrubing music for noisy-loving juveniles is incredibly annoying and I wish I could turn it off. The instructions themselves are so casual and quick you lose the sense of what they're intended to do. They also skip over things. These are terrible videos and BMW ought to redo them with adults in the room and people who are totally unfamilar with the process, so the instructions are clear and concise. I am so angry with what I thought to be adult intelligent instructions, I was ready to bring my car back to BMW and ask for my money back. The only thing that prevented me was that I already sold my old car. Clueless BMW!

I have a BMW G30, never, never in my life have I used the option to park the car by itself. under 1: it's too slow, especially when it's crowded, under 2: only a moron doesn't know how to park his car (although there are many of them). if you don't know how to park, throw away your license

You're using the wrong button. "Reverse" is not the one you use if you want to have the car park itself in the spot it detected.
