Yes, although… they’re extremely secretive and spend almost all their life under their trap door - so unless you wish to disturb them, you’re never going to see them…. So, a bit of a waste of money really?…
@@Hvacnc yeah mate feeding them fruit flies at the mo! The one that died just sat on the moss and refused to climb! The other 3 climbed to the top of their enclosures immediately! Just a very obvious difference in behaviour from the other 3…
Really cool man, glad you were able to find that lil run-away. I'd have to get a hotel 😆. Honestly though, seeing you hold the slings does somewhat help the fear. Keep it up man!
Hey Ryan, cheers matey! Really pleased you’re watching these and it’s already helped ease, if only a little, your concerns towards our 8-legged friends! 😁👍🏻
For the most part, I totally agree! However, certain species have been saved (from human destruction re: building of roads, villages etc), and captive breeding has resulted in the saving of species and reintroduction to the wild programs… So, there are positives & negatives on both sides. But for the most part, if I knew for certain that their natural habitat was totally safe from human interference/destruction - I’d happily send all my animals back to the wild…
I love the colors of that Brazilian jewel tarantula spider

The one at 5:35 looks awesome
Yeah, wasn’t expecting it to be so grown on, it was advertised as 1-2cm, didn’t notice they’d put 6cm one in! Great looking tarantula though 👍🏻
How are you t seladonias doing? I have a .5” sling rn and want to rehouse to a tarantula crib sling enclosure. The 360 house
Hey mate 3 are doing really well - sadly one died, it didn’t look ‘great’ when it arrived… annoying, but it happens with slings, sadly… 👍🏻
@@hauntofthecollector what signs made it stand out from looking great?
Also I made a typo mine is actually about the size you have in this video. Fruit flies for rn?

T. seladonia is beautiful!
They are indeed mate! Can’t wait to show you what these little beauties also do!… 👍🏻
These animals need to be left in the wild to breed. Keeping them as pets will endanger the species if it is not already endangered.
