I got my T seladonia as a freebie about 2 months ago. She was about 1/4 inch she has molted twice and is a little over an inch. People care for their T seladonia in different ways. I do not mist mine at all, I drop water droplets near her trapdoor and I see her drink from there. Mine will also only eat crickets so I kindly pinch the head and put it near her trapdoor. She always pulls it in and shuts her door. I was so scared of messing up with this species and I am happy to say my little Jewel is doing wonderful. Thanks for the video.
@14:10 I have 3 of these that I got as slings they are all juvieniles now. I have had them for 2 years and they are all pretty chill. Maybe I just got really lucky or they are getting a bad rap. Good luck with your H. gigas. 🕷🕷❤❤🕷🕷
Nice haul there, P pulcher, id say the more fiesty of the Psalmopeous, fimbriatus, gorgeous as adult, wont see it much lol, O phillipinus, fast, very fast, i mean Chilobrachys on speed fast, tripepii is Brazilian blonde, you got a metallica as a freebie, price of those here is sky high, T seledonia, sorry to say, never wanted one, when they came in and were, here, over £800 for a tiny sling that noone could keep alive because noone knew enough about then, instant turn off with them, still dont think enough is known but hope it works out for you 👍🏻
Definitely wish us luck on the Brazilian Jewel, so far she has built her trap door and had taken a meal worm. We were forced to rehouse her into a new enclosure due to the old enclosures lid. We literally couldnt open it without it flinging open and moving everything inside. We have 4 chilobrachys "pet holes" now haha I really hope the Metallica is a female!
@@machostarantulas Yeah those pet holes are great aren't they, so great to watch lol, I had 3 female metallicas before, stunning, fingers crossed for everything 🤞🏻
Great video of knees , carpet and legs.

Cool opening guys and good luck with your spoods. I have a couple P. victori and P. irminia on the way, this made me want to record my opening 😁
You should! We love the Psalmopoeus genus! Thank you!

I think they have a bad rap for sure because I am certain with the right setup to her enclosure she will just be a pet hole haha 😂
Is it still illegal to have T. Seledonia in US without being a breeder?
If you are importing from Brazil I believe so but anything captive bred in the US is legal
