As someone who is turning 29 this year, I can tell you that my mid 20s were some of the shittiest years of my life. There were a lot of really high highs but it also had really low lows (I'm talking about the sudden death of my partner, my two businesses failing, etc). But now, I start to feel like I'm *finally* on an upward trajectory. It's not common to feel like your life is falling apart, especially if you're self aware and ambitious. Just remember that this point in your life is the exact right time to FUCK UP, FAIL, FEEL HORRIBLE, AND DOUBT YOURSELF. Because if it's not gonna happen now bitch, then you better be scared that it will happen when you're 50 or 60. So, enjoy it! And this also goes out to everyone reading this comment and not just to stan. Fuck up, make mistakes, and trust the process. This is the time for you to really think about who you are and what you want to be. And guess what? Sometimes, the answer is not the answer that your parents or society want. Accept it.

Your life is so together, Stan! You spend a lot of quality time with your family and have a good relationship with them, you create great UA-cam content, you have your own apartment, you have several friends who love you! You could still feel like your life isn't "together," but really I think that means there are some specific things in your life that you want to work on improving, and feeling like there are areas in your life to improve is often healthy for a growth mindset. If you think you're perfect, you can't grow.

I hate when people say this because I feel like it's become so cheesy but at the end of the day we really are just on a floating rock in the middle of space, with no other signs of life around us. We need to live in the moment and stop worrying and doubting ourselves for having unproductive days or even entire months. We as humans, are creatures driven by emotion. Of course we might have months and up to years of sadness, unproductivity, etc. As long as we make it out alive from those times and work on ourselves to enjoy life as it is and with what we have, You'll see less of those depressive days. I love the perspective that you showed us with the living in the moment because the future is not always guaranteed and I live by that. I'll do what I feel like doing in the moment and of course, not neglect my future self, but not obsessing over a reality that may never even come to pass.
I just had a mental breakdown today..and honestly, I feel so hopeless everytime. I have no more passion for the things that I used to love to do plus that I got a bad childhood. It was so overwhelming for me. Ok enough of that. I just wanna say thank you very much Stan for existing, for making us laugh and for giving us joy. Im so excited everytime you upload. To all the ppl having a hard time Take a small goal for the start of month and do a small thing for the goal everyday, like you want to make a a good dish, try small recepies everyday until you cab make it Love you Stan!

i love this video a lot, the thing that helped me a lot with my depression and PMDD was understanding that most things are temporary. I've come to terms that my happiness is temporary, but so is my sadness. Sometimes shit happens, and that's okay, because I won't have to suffer forever. Brighter days come and pass, so instead of worrying about getting an episode, I cherish those happy moments when I can.
I'm also been in a similar situation in life rn where i keep feeling anxious for no reason and i feel like I put expectations and pressure on myself too much to reach new year goals quickly whilst neglecting the fact that it doesn't work like that, everything needs time. 2023 was the year where I was so insecure of everything, and now that it’s 2024, and lately just realizing that there really is no point trying to be hard in myself like you said, no one is perfect and everyone goes through challenges which could be an insecurity or just mental health, it’s really all about how you view yourself and the world around you, that you can live a good life and have struggles, if you see it in a positive light rather than negative, because again, NO ONE HAS THEIR LIFE TOGETHER, everyone struggles in life and that. Is. Okay.

I am a 17 year old who will get into college next year but issue is i don't want to be an office worker but i also don't know what I want to be so i am always so confused on what to be and becauss my family us poor i am feeling pressured to hasten the process and choose something just like how i chose science in 11th grade instead of arts Because my father pressured me... I just want to do a lot like be famous, dance, sing, write poems and atleast one book, learn crocheting, learn how to tailor my own clothes, learn makeup, be pretty and just live my life happily but because of my circumstances i feel so demotivated to do any of it as a career... Just yesterday night i was thinking of writing a book on bisexual love while my finals are like next door... Sometimes it just gets so tiring having to think about every single thing that's going to happen and plan ahead like i am not that smart i can't do it that way and so just let me live my life and figure it out...

It's good to see your beautiful faces. I hope the new years treats you both well xx I never set new years resolutions for myself but a close friend of mine told me too, even if it doesn't last. He told me to pick three small goals that are achievable and will help me in the future. I ended up choosing working on giving up smoking cigarettes, eating a little less (cos lets be honest last year I overate so much and it wasn't good for my tummy issues) and moving my body even just a little through the day. These goals don't seem like much but I really feel like they're going to improve my health, even just a little. I broke up w my partner of five years last year so my mental health isn't poppin pussy and I really just want to take it slow and be gentler with myself.
Love you so much stan you always change my mood and give me such positive and good energy, please never leave us lmao i'd lose my mind, take care of yourself and always remember we all need a long break from time to time it's so importa t to do that 🩷

2023 was the year where I was so insecure of everything, and now that it’s 2024, and lately just realizing that there really is no point trying to be hard in myself like you said, no one is perfect and everyone goes through challenges which could be an insecurity or just mental health, it’s really all about how you view yourself and the world around you, that you can live a good life and have struggles, if you see it in a positive light rather than negative, because again, NO ONE HAS THEIR LIFE TOGETHER, everyone struggles in life and that. Soooo true like wow... I am a 17 year old who will get into college next year but issue is i don't want to be an office worker but i also don't know what I want to be so i am always so confused on what to be and becauss my family us poor i am feeling pressured to hasten the process and choose something just like how i chose science in 11th grade instead of arts Because my father pressured me... I just want to do a lot like be famous, dance, sing, write poems and atleast one book, learn crocheting, learn how to tailor my own clothes, learn makeup, be pretty and just live my life happily but because of my circumstances i feel so demotivated to do any of it as a career... Just yesterday night i was thinking of writing a book on bisexual love while my finals are like next door... Sometimes it just gets so tiring having to think about every single thing that's going to happen and plan ahead like i am not that smart i can't do it that way and so just let me live my life and figure it out...

I never set new years resolutions for myself but a close friend of mine told me too, even if it doesn't last. He told me to pick three small goals that are achievable and will help me in the future. I ended up choosing working on giving up smoking cigarettes, eating a little less (cos lets be honest last year I overate so much and it wasn't good for my tummy issues) and moving my body even just a little through the day. These goals don't seem like much but I really feel like they're going to improve my health, even just a little. I broke up w my partner of five years last year so my mental health isn't poppin pussy and I really just want to take it slow and be gentler with myself.
Love you so much stan you always change my mood and give me such positive and good energy, please never leave us lmao i'd lose my mind, take care of yourself and always remember we all need a long break from time to time it's so importa t to do that 🩷
