Its beautiful and very creative...those holes are so small above a very tall ceiling...no eye can see it..trust me.....creativity is genius and a special gift... Thanks for sharing.

@12Sanguine , Thank you for your patience. This video took a lot longer to complete because I needed to do the voiceover and I've been so busy, I couldn't get it to my editor fast enough. Its up now and I'm sorry it took so long but I hope you can still incorporate these ideas this year! Good Luck! RR

NEW CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING video for 2013 just went up :-) I'm hopeful it will help you create the most beautiful Christmas gifts EVER! Christmas Decorations How to Wrap a Christmas Gift and Make A Bow!
Can't wait to try this idea hanging above my spiral staircase. Thanks so much for the name of the snowfall lights. Have been looking for this type of lighting for ages.
thanks you Donna M. Lane i have been asked a few time to just stop in and help. but for now hair is my first passion and ill leave the full time decor to my good friend Rebecca, i just love helping.. as to the staples in the wall they are very small and a small amount of joint compound on your finder will fill the hole and then a small paint touch up and your done. if your celling is high enough you wont even notice they are up there. hope that helps your fear and just go for it.
Love the lights that look like snow falling. I will have to look for them to add to my display next year. Thanks for sharing your "brilliant" (get it) ideas!!
I did the snow flakes, it looks very beutiful and it feels more like christmas in our hallway:) The spotlights make the snowflakes twinkle looks very nice:) Thank you for that beutiful idea:) Now of to the tree and fluffit up:)
@Angelcat710, Good question. We bought a special staple gun that has U shaped staples... Its made for things like this. A traditional staple gun would be too tight I think. You can find the U shaped kind at any Home Depot, Lows or hardware store :-) RR
I work for lord and taylor and a customer has sent me here. I now need to collect ALL of the fabulous ornaments and do this in my home. ^___^ Thank you, Spring!
i"m so glad you gave a tutorial for this. I wondered so much last year how you put the snowflakes up. Can you do a house tour. I always just see bits and pieces and it looks amazing
That looked super cool and easy!! I wish I could do that, but I don't think it'll look quite as nice since my ceiling isn't as high up.. but it still looked really nice(:
@Jake Smith, what do I THINK about that? ... ahh well... we took ours down without any trouble. Maybe it's luck or maybe it's using the right tools??? Honestly, I didn't even patch the ceiling where they were stapled up. In my opinion, it was a pretty easy application as well as clean up afterward. RR
Just discovered your videos (2014). Thank you for sharing your creative designs for Christmas. We used 14" Kurt Adler Snowfall lights and my brilliant husband came up with a way for us to hang it on our wood beamed ceilings without damaging the wood. Used a wire netting we painted white and covered it with Echo Snow from a craft store. Beautiful and different. Love it!
Love this idea. It reminds me of the butterfly display at Nieman Marcus. Do the staples leave a lot of dents and holes in your ceiling? If so, how do your repair it? My ceilings are much lower so damage would be visible.
Hi @lydia a.g., I'm sorry, I'm just now seeing this. By now I hope you have been able to log back into Robeson Design Studios channel and have seen the newest Makeover Mondays episodes. FYI, our channel was taken down by mistake by UA-cam. They got a report my channel was being copied and they shut us down instead of the bad guy. Its all fixed now. Thanks for being a faithful viewer. When MOM ends we will still keep our channel and upload videos. Something NEW! :- RR
Thank you for doing nice, beautiful decorations. If I see one more Dollar Store Hacks video I’m going to lose it.

Rebecca, I am afraid I will see the small pin holes when I remove the snow flakes, or are they too tiny? Love the idea
lovely idea as usual
Does this mean that your ceiling will have to be repaired when the staples are removed?
That's all I can think of.
Yep
