Sounds great! And nice looking '78 Jazz bass. I have to ask, what modifications have you made to that bass and how does the new Sire Marcus Miller basses compare to your '78? Could anyone out there translate my questions for me? Much appreciated!
+ron bZoom Just bought the swamp ash 4string Marcus Miller Sire in natural/maple neck, its fantastic and bests my Fender Jazz bass and Ibanez 4/5strings and seems to be able to do any style dependent on string choice. The tone controls give you a heap of sounds and turned up with a great action and finish. Without doubt the best value on the market. Plenty of bottom end mids top end whatever you want on this thing, check out Adam Dorns review. My advice get one.
+Rob Harvy Thanks for the friendly advice. Weird, I only heard about Sire Marcus basses just a couple of months ago. From pro and regular folk reviews, these axes appear to be THE best deal going. I just might take your advice but for a 5-ver. It will definitely be ash but I'm turn between the trans white and the natural. At these prices, I could get both! I feel like I should move quickly because when the word really gets out, they may come to their senses and bump up the price. Thank again!
