Glad you told us up front that it was slush. I kept thinking it was half broken down toilet paper. What a disaster that would be if the sanitary line was so blocked that it created a pool that big. But then it would have been a problem for the local government, I guess.
@@Jaythatdrainguy you too have a great weekend, Lunar New Year coming up next Sunday the 22nd, it'll be the year of the Rabbit, Happy Lunar New Year to you Jay
Yeah, I don't understand it either. I don't even understand why it was such a small drain. They should had a catch base in there that run to a storm manhole. But anyway, thanks for watching John. I appreciate it. Have yourself a great day brother
When removing the grate in such places as a car park, always check for the litter basket before trying to force a plunger down. Then you won't damage it as you did.
Ya you're right with how deep it was I wasn't really expecting that mesh to be down there. As you could see it clearly wasn't a proper basket. I do understand that is not an excuse but that is what I'm going with tonight. I hope you like the channel and I hope you have yourself a great night and week
@@Jaythatdrainguy it could be that a previous person didn't check, broke it, and had to put that mesh there instead. Anyway you got the job done which was the aim . Well done. Sue.
That was an insane amount of water! loved it though, always satisfying seeing everything disappear like that.. Puzzling why that is such a small drain like that, almost seems like it's over underground parking or some other area that doesn't allow for a traditional catch basin.
Yeah that's a weird thing. There was no underground garage there so I don't understand. I'm kind of thinking that it was afterthought but I still don't know where it's running too. So there may have been a building up there and they just tie the drain into there. I really don't know Adam. Thanks for watching brother. Have yourself a great day.
No I don't know where you're from. I'm guessing the states, but here in Canada right now we're about minus one so that's probably 30 31 for you guys so it's not extremely cold, but it's definitely not t-shirt and shorts weather. Have a great one! Laura
At one point the camera focused on your crotch and somehow I panicked and hit the fast forward button 10 seconds 🤣🤣🤣 I'll watch an extra 10 seconds to make up the difference in my view, but I couldn't help but tell you because I realized it and laughed so hard 🤣
Wow I can’t believe they allowed a 4” type floor drain in a car park ? That should have been a storm water catch basin with at least 8”outlet I don’t really know what the code requires up in Canada I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend anyone I’m just saying Gotta love those disc plungers they are a back saviors Good job as always bro TROGNA 😂❤
swirling does not create whirlpools whirlpools are air that pushes up and water that is not strong enough to overcome it, so its getting pressed to the side. graviational pull then pulls water back in but air again presses it to the side, thats how it rotates
Buying poor quality camera and mike equipment also swirling doesn't drain it quicker what does is using the right equipment a main drain in a car park should drain quicker than that....a plunger doesn't always do the job which it really didn't.... you should have jetted it and completely cleared it I bet that blocks straight away when it rains again....if your going to show videos do it properly....
You're right this was a Friday and the property manager just asked if we could get it going for the weekend because Monday they had all the drains power washed or jetted whatever you want to call it. And it wasn't an educational video . You're literally talking about doing things properly. You have like no punctuation in your run-on sentence, but people don't bring up stuff just for the fact of bringing it up. So if you like the video, thanks for watching. If you didn't, feel free to not watch anymore It doesn't really matter to me. Thanks for watching Terence. Have yourself a great day.
@@Jaythatdrainguy I'm not writing a book so it doesnt matter how a write the sentence does it!!! but your supposed to be a plumber/drain clearing so your van says? so surely your supposed to do a proper job all the other drain clearing jobs I've seen on youtube (I've also been a builder for 25 years) from other tradesman wether it's a paid job or a free one they always clear it correctly that's all im saying and your saying it's not a educational video you have stated in your videos about swirling it's not correct......
I don't mind it but am I going to go back and forth with you, no I'm not going to do that and am I going to admit I did something wrong no because I didn't. Did the drain get cleared, yes. Am I going to take the video down nope. So I think we are at a stand still. Like I said have a great day. No hard feelings either way.
Thanks a million for doing these parking lots. They'd be filled for days if it weren't for people like yourself that just take care of business.
Thanks Cheryl. I hope you have yourself a great weekend.
I think they are contractors, so the lot owners will receive an invoice for the work…
