It's a process that takes time. Start with smaller side hits and focus on jumping from an athletic stance to landing in an athletic stance. Learn shiftys and safety grabs and progressively try bigger jumps. Eventually learn 180s, 360s 540s, backflips, flatspins, cork 7 in that order roughly. It'll likely take years. Learn these rotations on trampolines first.
He's on the qualifying challenger/championship tour right now. First event was at Crested Butte, the next is at Silverton, and the last is at Kirkwood.
