That's why upgrading your RV jacks with easy DIY jack pads is a great way to improve your RVing experience. Jack pads are designed to provide a stable and level base for your RV jacks, which can help prevent damage to your RV and make it easier to set up and level your RV on uneven ground.
    Overall, upgrading your RV jacks with easy DIY jack pads is a great way to improve your RVing experience.     These are great for stabilization and help to add height in situations where proper leveling is a problem!
    Material List:
    1 - 4x6x8 Pressure Treated Lumber
    2- 1x6x8 Pressure Treated Lumber
    2 Boxes of 2 1/2" Deck Screws
    1 - 3x5' Rubber Mat
    4- Galvanized Handles (found at Home Depot)
    2 Cans Black Spray Paint - Primer & Paint in One (Satin or Gloss)

    Thanks for the video!! I have seen about 3 others and gleaned a bunch of usable info. I have a 30-foot 5th wheel and went with 1 8-foot 4x6, and 1 8-foot 2x12. The wife wanted the jack pads non painted, but I liked how yours looked painted black. A friend of mine works for the Railroad and gave me flooring they use in their train cars / cabooses. About 1/2 inch thick and they went on very securely. These will last long after we are done camping...lol!

    How many tubes of gorilla glue did you use for the rubber pads?

      Hi Todd! Thank you so much for watching. We truly appreciate it! Jeff said that he used approximately two tubes of gorilla glue. The rubber pad was purchased at Lowe’s and was about 3/8 of an inch thick. He cut it to size. Please let us know if you decide to do this project would love to see photos!
