Tomo gave me, (and I'm sure a lot of others), great advise by way of The Gear Page conversations with him. He even offered to send me some cables to test out one time trusting that I would send them back with out question. He gives so much of his time and wisdom away. He's a wonderful resource and human being.

One thing to stumble across Mr. Fujita from Blue Note Japan & be impressed at the melodic, fluid playing. Then to find this gem of an interview with another Master player. A condensed beauty of life lessons & shared passion for a language that transcends words. Thanks to both Gentlemen for all you contribute Music.

From Japan.
It has been almost 24years since I came to the US. I moved around in the country.. CA, CO, TX, PA etc…but now I am settled in a place perhaps 30min drive where Josh was born..!!
The first place I landed was Boston..! Just like Tomo said, I clearly remember the night I arrived at the airport in Feb..
I remember the lights of Boston I saw through the window of the airplane.. It was so cold in the airplane and I caught a cold the next day and stayed in the Ramada Inn for a couple days.
I took Tomo-san’s famous “Tape Lessons” only for 3times more than 10year ago.. ( I got so busy and did not have time to keep up..) and he made me realize how bad my swing rhythm was.. :)
