He used to open here in the Bay Area for Big Brother and the gal you sound like. I only know him because we both work in the Bay Area and I walk out with him most nights as he talks about trying to get his band together. They are together and he practices many nights. I do agree...I don't think Doyle's guitar tone really fit this live performance. Though interesting. I wish he would've used the more mellow clean tone that he used on the studio version. I'm all for doing things differently live, but his tone this particular time didn't really fit. Too fuzzy and twangy for this number, IMO.
