I became a Goldfrapp fan late so I discovered all their albums in retrospect (without nostalgia or preconceived expectations) and I can say this… while Tales of Us was the most difficult one for me to get into, it ended up becoming my favorite of all of them! Absolutely brilliant.
I love watching European interviews, they really know their stuff, they do their research and the concept of whatever is being presented is really explored. Its actually entertaining
Humble , are u sure , are u absolutely, positively sure . Humble , fck me , no no no no , not humble , something other than humble . Defo something with an H tho . More like horrrrrrsssssssshhhittt ,
An Italian friend invited me to Italy once. Him and some mates were going to a concert. I went along. it was Goldfrapp. knew nothing of them. It really blew me away.
Annabel, Laurel and Stranger are three of the most breathtakingly beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life. This album was brilliant and genuinely moving.
Hi Alison. I lived in north london and your 2 sisters and brothers. Your parents and my parents were great friends. You were just a babe in arms when we moved to Surrey. 🎶🎶 xx
A funny coincidence here: before being a Radio Six dj, Lauren Laverne sang on the song "Come home Billy Bird" from Neil Hannon/Divine Comedy, a chamber orchestral act which has a subtle musical affinity with the Goldfrapp collective
Came here to see Alison's beautiful face, and found another beautiful woman in the process. Wow Ms. Lauren you are so pretty. Kind of look like sisters. Very nice. Wowee We Waa... I like!
I wish an interviewer like this could adapt her energy to the subject. Alison is very quiet, thoughtful and needs time to express her thoughts. The interviewer in contrast is hyped and rushed and overwhelms the subject.
"RADIO HIT BAND" WTF? Ummmmmh the only stations that plays Goldfrapp is a national public radio station or Indie stations here (Australia/US the former). The day I hear one of those crappy "POP" or US commercial stations play Goldfrapp will only be when groupies of Goldfrapp form "music terrorist" groups and force these said stations to play their music or they will destroy all that easy listening "Taylor Swift/Miley Cyrus/Lady Gaga/Katy Perry crap!
I fucken would believe it 110% if it was a L.A. Douche bag DJ. Just see the horrendous amount of crap that comes out of Hollywood considered as films? (:

likewise. though Fel mountain remains a masterpiece. These guys are pure musicians. bless them
Her speaking voice is just as sparkly as her singing voice.
Fuck what mainstream radio producers think. Goldfrapp does just what Goldfrapp wants to do and that's why we love it.
I love watching European interviews, they really know their stuff, they do their research and the concept of whatever is being presented is really explored. Its actually entertaining
*I CAN LISTEN TO HER TALK ALL DAY...I CAN LISTEN TO HER SING FOR ETERNITY.*
She's so fucking cool yet humble and beautifully chilled without saying too much. Class.

The woman that walks in early on to do Lauren's job for her looks AMAZING.
Damn she is cool
Oh and Alison is beautiful
Goldfrapp looks like she's 28 but in actuality was 46 or 47 when this was published? Goldfrapp never ages?
Why did I miss her for so long ???
Bowie had a Daughter , Goldfrapp
Tim Jack Ugh she’s her own talent Kate Bush is her own talent, all the women are their own talent. Ballsacky.

So glad they didn't put more drums in Felt Mountains or sped it up! How can you propose this to such two brilliant artists like Alison and Will?
Both Lauren and Alison have such similar voices. it's uncanny!!
😴
Little known fact: Born and raised in Enfield Middx.

Her singing style ; at times , reminds me of Blondie.
Goldfrapp say "yeah" 200 times
very positive lady

I fucken would believe it 110% if it was a L.A. Douche bag DJ. Just see the horrendous amount of crap that comes out of Hollywood considered as films? (:
God, Alison is hard work in an interview.
well she's sick, and about to do a show.
Shes fine in this.i dont ses her being awkward at all...
hmmm "alison goldfrapp" ...any relation to the band?
the duo Goldfrapp i presume?
She always seems to get colds? She had the same excuse on Morning Becomes Eclectic. Still sounded great! Two gorgeous women!
Who is the assistant with the big hits at 0.21?
It's so edgy when chicks (or dudes) wear black nail polish, especially when everyone in the room is wearing it.
Sounds off her face
does Alison Goldfrapp actually have a non-pissed-off voice or is that just her default vocal setting?
revol148 I think she was tired here..
Tired totally man
