I'll tell you youngsters(I'm 72 yrs young).......I really believe the Buffs ground game will open things up like a floodgate. Great show, Go Buffs!!!!!
Yeah, but when they play a team that is in the top 100. They're gonna lose. Colorado is like the best way to describe them. They are the best team in the garbage group teams. They are the best garbage team. When they play A-Team like Nebraska, they get smashed and everyone makes excuses for them. I don't get it. They beat terrible teams and people act like they just won the rose bowl and then when they play a team that's in the top one hundred, they get embarrassed and everyone makes crazy excuses for them
Solid win tonight. I’ve seen all 15 games in the Coach Prime era at CU and this was in my opinion the first complete game they’ve played. It was complimentary football and the first time Shadeur wasn’t running for his life at almost every snap. Yes; I know he wasn’t sacked a lot against NDSU but was pressured and huried constantly. The run game was better and Coach Prime has to stop with the downplaying the run game and Jake’s question on balance. THE RUN GAME IS CRITICAL and opens up the passing game! Welch has proback potential written all over him…get the young guy more carries. Also; kudos to the much maligned O-Line; they finally in 15 games looked like an FBS quality OLine and I believe have a foundation to build on. The left side of Seaton and Brown is a side to run behind! The good thing is in my opinion they only scratched the surface tonight. They still had way too many penalties, Shaduer didn’t have a great game with several missed throws and missed Micah on a check down that could’ve been a possible touchdown and the receivers; Shepherd had too many drops. Yet we still won by 3 scores which tells me they haven’t scratched the surface on how good they could be….gotta improve though because Baylor is no slouch and will be a formidable opponent. But forget least one night we can see the possibilities! Go Buffs!!
Adjustments O line, Coaching staff, Play calling, running game, Defense. Good game for the Buffs!!! Travis is Travis!! This team is staring to grown together and developing a running game. The talent is there! Good Win!!! SKO BUFFS!!!
Micah Welch finally got the ball and the rest is history hopefully this Rudy experiment they had going on is over with they finally gave the best backs the ball. Shout out to Augustus he did his thing too but Welch set the tone for two games they kept that pit on a leash finally released him
Don't sh*t on charlie like that. The other RB's didn't do any better than he did. I do think Micah is the best RB on the team.. but the o-line played way better against csu, and csu is a horrible team on the front seven. It wasn't because charlie isn't good, that we couldn't run the ball. It was a combination of Micah being the best back, o-line played better, and csu sucks on the d-line
@Midwest51344 I respectfully disagree. I do agree Micah and Augustus are better though. As much as we pass, pass protection is huge. And maybe he likes that the most. I know it was late, but charlie had 2 carries for 18 yards vs csu. The RB's are only as good as the o-line, and how good the opposing defense is. I disagree about the whole Rudy thing for sure. But I am very high on Micah and am with you on him and Augustus being better runners
@35:00 its funny sheduer said that about the end if NDSU with that play he called.. but because people thought they might lose the game even tho they never were going to... it was a bad decision and he got crucified for it. The switch is funny to see in Real Time.
Good win yesterday. The team came out shell shocked from last week’s game and played down to the level of their opponent. However, the offense laid the foundation for a balance attack. And the defense and offense lines are better. This team can win the Big 12!
I love how positive everyone is when they win. First the team they played sucks. Let’s see what happens if they lose the next couple games and I hope they do nothing not. I love what’s going on there I don’t live in Calorado. As soon as something goes you guys just go off on these and Coach Prime. If you are true fan then be nice like and still support them. I think Travis will go before anyone in the draft next year what a good humble amazing player.
Definitely seemed like a point of emphasis (crossers). It seemed like we stayed in man with some robbers in the middle at times. Woods ate up a crosser early. Hunter was jumping crossing routes by his man. I think one measure of a good coach are their in game adjustments. I’m impressed with the d coordinator this year.
After a week full of smack-talk from CSU’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi and Tory Horton, the Rams couldn’t walk the walk. Fowler-Nicolosi threw two picks and fumbled on Colorado’s goal line, while Horton struggled due to a nagging leg injury. The Buffaloes had their number all night, rolling the Rammies for an easy win. That smack-talk didn’t fly under the radar of Coach Prime and Colorado’s locker room, as they had choice words for how the Rams conducted themselves ahead of Saturday’s matchup. “The disrespect was uncalled for throughout the week,” said head coach Deion Sanders in his postgame presser. “A couple of their players took shots at the whole program and a few of our players, so it is what it is. We knew that coming into the game it was going to be a bit personal, and it was.” Things kicked off when Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell and Colorado’s receivers coach Jason Phillips got into a shouting match during pre-game warm-ups. There were no fireworks like last season at Folsom, but this incident proved enough to light a spark in the Buffaloes. “During warm-ups, one of the guys ran into [Phillips] and elbowed him, which is uncalled for,” said Sanders. “I just pray that our kids never act in that manner, because [media] would have a field day if they did.” Tempers flared again when Colorado State quarterback Folwer-Nicolosi made the “too small” gesture on Travis Hunter while running out of bounds in the second quarter on a one-yard QB keeper. He might want that moment back
He was trying to get Travis his 100 yards; two weeks ago Jimmy Horn, Jr. misssed out on a 200-yard game by one play! DUH❕️🤪🤪🤪 #LonghornsBuffsFan 🏈🦬🏈🦬🏈🦬🏈🦬🏈🦬
Great win against a rival that always plays CU tough, but they just did what they were supposed too do. Great turnaround on the OL week to week but they need to improve more before Baylor comes to town. Folsom should be rocking and if CU takes the next step on the OL and runs for at least 120 on the ground, has fewer than 8 penalties, and the D plays like they have been we should win decisively. SKO BUFFS!
The running game used speed around the edges for a change, instead of just trying to ram through the middle of the defense. Running the ball is more than desire, it is also play calling. I loved the offensive line's improvement, but this team still is undisciplined. Way too many penalties. Those mistakes will cost games in the Big 12. Great win! Get better!
I have never seen a team be accused of stat padding before in college football in my life... Tennessee dropped 70 on a fcs team and their qb threw for 400 and 5 tds and cam ward against a fcs threw for 375 and 5 tds and dropped 62 and i don't hear anyone saying they were stat padding... people have so much hate in their heart for shadeur just cause of who his father is its disgusting. I didn't see anyone say that Alabama was stat padding keeping milroe in the game against Wisconsin which was a complete beatdown. This is a new criticism i have never heard before...smh
Sad that Colorado's 'super bowl' is a game vs an instate team that is far from a rival. How can you even call CSU a rival when CSU has never been on equal footing with CU athletic revenue, conference affiliation, NIL $, recruiting, academic standing (AAU), marketability, etc etc.... EVER. Like there is no rival there. CU is the big brother in the state and there should never be a comparison and CU should never lower their standards to being on equal footing. Or has things gotten so low at Colorado that they get themselves up for a mid/lower level mountain west team? C'mon CU, you're better than this. Act like the big brother, be the first to extend the hand post game, be the bigger person and wish CSU well in their season and move on to better things. Simply put, grow up and be the big brother you claim to be.

Colorado is the best of the worst teams in the nation. They can't be any good teams. They can only be bad teams and everyone acts like they just won the championship, but makes crazy excuses when they come up against a team. That's in the top 100 who smashes them. It's kind of pathetic
We have talent but the coaching has to improve. Fans had to coach the coaches into making personnel and scheme changes but still, some of the decisions were childish and irresponsible. Big 12 games will require the coaches to improve from the top down.
Fans and media convinced the Gold Jacket to try running the ball. It allowed his line to mix it up and stay fresher. It opened the short n mid passing routes as we kept saying it would. Coach needs to get more tips from the peanut gallery, lol.
