    I may not be a big fan of MLP myself, but it seems like some of the best UA-cam musicians are, so you do you I suppose :D fantastic composition by the way, truthfully very emotional and touching. Very well done indeed

    This is really beautiful. Calming and slow, but melancholy, and just enjoyable to listen to all around. You're an amazing artist. Please don't let anyone tell you otherwise. And always do just what you want to do - whether it's amazing stuff like this, or the more ambient and eerie stuff, whatever you come up with will be great.
    Best wishes with life. I know it gets hard, and things get depressing, but as you said they'll get better. ^^

    So I have basically your entire youtube library on a playlist for when I write, this came on and I had to stop and say something. I've heard this one many times, and loved it each time, but something about this time around... it just felt powerful. I love all of your work, but there's a good handful of them that you just have to stop and appreciate and this is most certainly one of them. This is how you do orchestral, and this is how you do it right.

  • @Radiarc_

    I was kinda inspired by Animal Crossing as far as the pacing goes; still holding out for a next-gen release of that.
    Anyways, I was able to get 8dio's Adagietto during the 40% off sale, so I figured I'd give it a test run and show you guys I can still do a little something-something.
    I'm also realizing how misleading that last upload was, because it wasn't in any way indicative of the nature of the album.
    It was the one outlier, but most of it was just atmosphere and stuff like this song, though a lot less emotional and more immersive.
    Even still, I'm content with everything, since things actually went better than expected.
    As far as my next instruments go, I'm gonna see about buying some nicer woodwinds, and then focus on brass.
    I'd like some more solo strings, but I think I'll be okay with what I have for now.
    I don't really have any solid ideas for what songs I'll be doing, but whatever it is, I'm sure I'll have fun with it.
    If you read the description, I've had some things going on, but I'll make it through, as always.
    I wouldn't be me if I didn't!

      I know it’s like 7 years late, but is the title of the song referencing the Londswordian final event for that one world conquest option

    • @Radiarc_
      @Radiarc_  7 місяців тому +1

      @@TheIT221 At the time, it was just me saying that I knew what people wanted from me, but I'd been unable to do it to the extent that I wanted, so I refrained. Once I'd gotten the money for better strings, I immediately started working on more emotional, slower paced songs, which manifested in this. Stark contrast to dark industrial/ambient, but what I had on the horizon for a long, long time.

    Buddy, you're like my favorite composer on youtube. I get super giddy when you release a new song. There isnt a single tune that you have made, that I have not obsessed over for days or weeks. They bring so much inspiration to me for art and story-building. It's hard to find composers that can make the exact kind of creepy music that I love like The ID, or upbeat like Impulse, or gentle like Battlegrounds and this.
    Please keep up the amazing work, and this kind of music is heavenly, and brings so much emotion, I can feel all of it in each music note

    Gorgeous melancholy piece; makes me reflect on where I was and where I am now and I have to say god damn what a strange trip it's been and still is. To be honest I've also had it rough lately. I mean you know that things are rough when you end up in the ER in the morning/middle of the night (depending on how you look at it), thankfully it wasn't anything major. So I can actually relate to a degree.
    As for the track itself, it's beautiful, and strong, keep up the good work.

    Dude in a lot of Videos of yours I read how depressed you are. Boi...seriously cheer up. All of us...most of us down here in the comments, me included, love what you do. So stop being so depresed. Take joy in what you do and the fact that what you do is loved by others as well.
    Because i know that I cannot do what you do.

    • @Radiarc_
      @Radiarc_  7 років тому +1

      I'm grateful, but there are multiple reasons behind the depression; it's not always so simple as it seems to force myself to feel better.
      As of late, I've been trying to mainly take a break from music and focus on enjoying myself through Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel, but work at the factory has been really wearing on me both mentally and physically, and there are even more complications from it due to the lack of sick days/vacation days, so I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how I'm going to plan stuff for later on this year, marriage included.
      But that's for all of the times when there's a real reason behind the depression -- sometimes, there is none, and I just wake up feeling like garbage, and I spend the whole day hating everything despite trying my hardest to find something to get me to feel better.
      Granted, it's not so severe as it is for others, but it just seems like I'm always stressed and I have no time to breathe.
      Still, I know things will get better eventually; it's just a waiting game.

    • @TurKlack
      @TurKlack 7 років тому +1

      Ok. I understand, but out of curiosity in which factory are you working? Ever thought about looking for another Job? I don't know how the laws work in your country, but here in Germany it isn't that bad to be Jobless...well for me at least. I have plenty of time doing what I want and looking for a Job that interest me. Maybe you can start something completly new, and it makes you feel better in a lot of ways.
      Actually I get the kind of picture that you see yourself in chains. Chained by life, work, and the expectations of others, maybe. Perhaps the reason why you are depressed. I can only advice you to look for someone to talk to, it doesn't have to be a friend, or someone close. It can be a complete stranger or someone you actually don't like. I know that because I almost committed suicide and the one man I disliked the most got me out of this mess.
      Also take a weekend off and just drive to another place to relax., Don't think about how you do it, just do it. As Shian Labouff said. (or however his name is written)
      All of this are just some advices from a random person on the world and you don't have to listen to it. But it may help you.

    Think this has to be my favorite from you yet. Great use of strings! Adagietto is great, I use it myself.

    • @Radiarc_
      @Radiarc_  8 років тому

      Thanks!
      I'm gonna try to make the most of it, but I'm also considering getting Free Radicals as well for whenever I sit down to make another hybrid thing, since I've got Free Angels and that's served me well.
      It's a little bit of a tough choice considering I'd also like to work with more strings, but they don't offer the grandiose legato divisi separately from the ensemble, so I don't know if I really want to do that right now.

    • @GhostXb
      @GhostXb 8 років тому

      It's funny because when the grandiose legato first came out you could buy the divisi separate. Though, depends on the kind of music you make really. I use Agitato more then Adagietto simply because I tend to write more dramatic legato lines then slower, more emotional pieces. Not sure I would recommend the arpeggios strings though. It's a rather specific sound that grandiose can do almost as well.
