Here's another installment of Portland: Then and Now! Not quite as many sights as my previous videos but still some cool little comparisons done here.
I apologize for having less content recently (I know you all understand) but a combination of not feeling safe going out and doing my usual thing combined with working on some very time consuming projects is making it difficult for me to have more than a video a week up for the time being.
Hope y'all enjoy this newest installment in this series!
random wheelie guy @10:55
the number of potholes all over the roads is unbelievable!
While I appreciate your effort , I find these videos very depressing since I grew up in Portland and it's heartbreaking to see what it's become .
The automobiles in the 70s pics are wonderful.
I hope you do one of these of NW Portland - Alphabet Historical District/NW 21st/NW 23rd/Slabtown
how do we email you
PRETTY SAD PLACE EVER SINCE THE DEMOCRATS HAVE TAKEN IT DOWN THE GUTTER!
I miss those palm trees in Portland. There aren't a lot of them, but I used to go on the palm tree ride back in the day. They don't grow here in northern Utah.
Yo, they reburied the shelter at Kelly Butte. Blasted the top of the hill a couple days ago apparently
These are the best..thanks Steve
Great vid…can’t wait for part 4! The church pic was actually taken one block east at 34th and Taylor from the playground of Sunnyside school. The house on the corner is gone but 3333 SE Taylor is visible as are the two pitched roof homes across the street.
Agree about the location.
awesome
@15.20 what year is the old pic please?
Great work! Thanks Steve
According to where I found it it says the picture was taken circa 1967. Thanks for watching!
Man this one hit close to home. A lot of stuff near the neighborhood I grew up in
