Happy to find this channel! If you are ever cruising around the 43mm and see catfish rigs off a dock in the water stop and say hello! 😊

Mike - your videos are always interesting and enjoyable. It would be great if you did one on how you get your shad. There are probably other folks like me who are just starting on learning to find them and throw the shad net. Would be helpful I’m sure.

It amazes me how you fish 4,5,6 rods on the Osage, in current, and don't get a tangled mess , when you hook a bigger fish. If the fish don't tangle, I would be hung on the bottom with 2 out of 3. I use about the same type of equip. Good job

I would get snagged by boat movement in the current or when checking the bait. Never mind getting tangled by a fish. It's just my style of catfishing.

Great video Mike! I putchased a protege as well and love it. What angle drift masters do you use. Cant decide between the 0-30 , or 20-/50. Keep the videos coming, fish on!

Mike I really enjoy your video's, but did you know in MO 3 rods per person.

You can have more than 3 BUT you must have name & address ,or your conservation I D number on each rod. Same as if you were setting jugs. Personally 3 is enough. If fish are biting its hard to keep up with 3. If they are not biting, I don't think 10 would be much help.

How many oz sinkers was you using. I was out there using 5 oz coin sinkers. Felt like it was barely enough to keep it on the bottom

Fours and fives. Fives were better. Sixes wouldn’t be too heavy.
