What exactly is meant by "dua doesn't get rejected when make dua during tahajuud or when it's raining and so on." Because to me, it doesn't seem like dua got accepted even if I prayed during these times. If you ask for something in dua, you won't get it until you make an effort for it. In other words, effort + Allah's will = success (get what you wanted) So without making an effort, is dua fruitless? Is dua an essential thing required for success? There are many non- muslims who exert effort and get success. They don't pray, do they? They still are successful. So, what's the relevance of dua? حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو کعبہ شریف کا طواف کرتے دیکھا ۔ آپ فرما رہے تھے :’’ تو کتنا پاکیزہ ہے ! اور تیری خوشبو کتنی پاکیزہ ہے ! تو کس قدر عظیم ہے ! تیرا احترام کتنا عظیم ہے ! قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد ( ﷺ ) کی جان ہے ! اللہ کے ہاں مومن کی حرمت تیری حرمت سے بڑھ کر ہے ، یعنی اس کے مال اور جان کی حرمت ، اور یہ کہ اس کے بارے میں بد گمانی کرنا بھی حرام ہے ۔‘‘
