I think this is the reason why I fell so in love with the show, its a fantasy of what I think all of us want our life to be (or wish it had been for those who came out/were outed and received the worst reaction ever.) I just watched the show for the first time 2 weeks ago, it’s been my comfort ever since.
I have got a love like this and we are not teenagers anymore. It is possible, when you have a good heart. Do not give up please. There is not only one but many out there. People to meet, things to discover. You make the world brighter and better cos you exists. What you see and what many see in this series, is a pure reflection of the good things we have inside. So many like you out there then. See? :)
my little brother is 8 (i’m bout to turn 18). he was able to confess to me he had a crush on a boy in his class because of this show. obviously, the responsible thing to do as a big sis was to purchase the four books for his birthday (he loves comics also). it just meant the entire world to me, i will never forget it. we promised to watch season two together when it comes out (pun intended)💌

@@lynnhettrick7588 I think we all had the same worry. But Kit being the consummate professional makes me optimistic that it'll be fine. A less experienced actor might've let it mess him up.
It wouldn't have stopped him from being part of the show. At the very least, he's under contract with them that I'm sure lasts for a few seasons. "I was forced to come out before I was ready" isn't the type of excuse that would get him written off the show and recast no matter how it made him feel.

Hey. 28 years old bisexual here and I was wondering if it made sense for me to be so much touched by the show's poetry when it concerns the life of teenagers. But I think for me it's precisely this period of my life (adolescence) that was the most affected by the unacceptance of homosexuality. Wish I were born 15 years after or that I had seen a show or read a book like this when I was younger. I am fully out for years but this show helps healing the past injures. Happy for your growth and wish you all the best man!
@@lambda6256 Exactly, I come from a Christian family, and they didn't like homosexuality at all, so I basically stayed in the closet until early 30s, I haven't been out that long. But my parents accepted me now, my mother slightly more than my father. But this show helped me a lot somehow too understand myself. Thanks for your reaction and I wish the best for you too.
I can really see Joe looking more mature in this video. Kit of course looks older, especially with the little beard. But Joe, he just seems a lot mature now. Still cute and adorable, but of course it is now around 2 years since they filmed season one, he has aged, but he still looks stunning.

@@lynnhettrick7588 Yes, that is what I saw too. We tend to forget, both Kit and Joe were around 17 when they filmed the first season in 2021. Both of them will be 19 now, with Kit's birthday next month in March. Those two years did have an affect, as they are still growing up and maturing. Joe looks even more handsome, and as for Kit ... I am weak just looking at him with his beard
they literally finished filming in december, have patience! if we're lucky we might get a release date within the next month. i think we could expect the second season anytime from mid-late june to early september if we're lucky (this is if we go from the post-production speed from when season 1 filming finished which i believe was in august/september 2021, so it took around 7-8 months.)
Kit is so humble. I'm as obsessed with Olivia Colman as the next person but Kit was the star of that coming out scene to me.. Loved how when he was gushing about Olivia as usual "She's so good", Joe made it a point to be like "YOU are so good"

I watched this WHOLE show 7 times in I think 3 days and I still love it with all my heart. I'm so darn excited for the new season to come out! Nick and Joe are genuinely just amazing people and so are the rest of the cast. This whole entire show is just extraordinary and Echo is just the cutest dog ever. As an 11 year old, this whole show actually teaches me something and other people things as well. Can't wait for the new season xo
I haven't had the best relationship with men and realized I had a real internalized fear for them. These two beautiful humans have really helped in my healing journey seeing this kind of soft masculinity helped me realice that not all of them are like what I experienced, there is kindness if you look for it.- And I am really thankful for that and for all they've done for the LGBTQAI+ community, I wish them only the best ❤

The show really helped me understand and love myself more for who I am. I never expected this show to affect me so much, but at 20 I finally fully accepted myself. This show didn’t just help young people. I am almost 43 and I wish so much that things had been like this back when I was a teen…the resources out there now for young people discovering themselves are so much better. This series broke my heart and mended it in a thousand different ways and I can’t wait for series 2.

I love these two and I love how they are down to earth and love what they are doing. You could feel that they really care of each other and they have a strong friendship. Their acting in S1+2 was amazing. Especially Kit was in S2 so good and I could Listen to him all day long. They are so young but have so much to say. I m glad that younger people have role models like them ❤

i am about to become an english teacher in public schools in spain and im defectively going to use heartstopper in my classroom for the same reasons they just talked about in the video, it makes me so emotional that i could help people in those ways

I love how fondly they spoke of their scenes, their fellow actors, and of each other. Heart stopper has such a great and supportive cast and staff. I am so excited for season 2!
They really do look quite good together. They seem a bit similar internally so there is chemistry. Joe is so adorable looking and Kit is very strong but soft looking at the same time so they mesh well visually
I loved this. Their faces are so expressive and you can just sort of get a real feeling of their emotions during those scenes. Love it. Can't wait for Season 2.
I really liked that scene where he caught himself saying you look good and adjusted to saying your hair. It was such a clear sign of his inner feelings starting to just pop out while he tries to manage it.
The Nick coming out scene is so perfectly acted on Kit's part, as well as Olivia Colman doing an amazing job as the parent any LGBTQ+ kid would love to have. The way Kit acts out the stress and pressure of coming out to a loved one, followed by the relief after; I can confidently say he makes it seem like the real thing. It looks exactly as how I felt coming out to my parents.
I loved this video of Kit and Joe. They are incredibly adorable and very cute. This excess of cuteness moves me so much that I even cry. Congratulations on their work Heartstopper was the best series of my life. I'm really looking forward to the second season.

Kit and Joe have such great chemistry together. It really makes the show! And Olivia Colman is her generation’s Judi Dench. It’s unbelievable that she’s in Heartstopper.

This show didn’t just help young people. I am almost 43 and I wish so much that things had been like this back when I was a teen…the resources out there now for young people discovering themselves are so much better. This series broke my heart and mended it in a thousand different ways and I can’t wait for series 2.

I love these two and I love how they are down to earth and love what they are doing. You could feel that they really care of each other and they have a strong friendship. Their acting in S1+2 was amazing. Especially Kit was in S2 so good and I could Listen to him all day long. They are so young but have so much to say. I m glad that younger people have role models like them ❤
I really just adore how much they both respect each other and recognize how great they both are. When Joe looked at Kit after Kit was talking about how beautiful Charlie was really surprised me and made me blush 😂

This is such a beautiful interview and exactly the right time to make it. It’s allow the dust to settle after the huge success on its release and the near year Kit and Joe have had since, some of it turbulent. They both seemed at ease and comfortable in themselves talking about it all.
@5:00 ADR is basically an audio dub. Some scenes are inherently noisy and can normally be expected to require ADR. Sometimes ADR is used to create a background sound of others who are meant to be in the same area (but during the take are not). This interview makes me want to watch the whole series again to see if I can determine where the audio has been dubbed.

I really can't wait for Season two. I agree with Kit, Cormack played the such a part as Harry. All the actors did so good. 💕💕

They really do look quite good together. They seem a bit similar internally so there is chemistry. Joe is so adorable looking and Kit is very strong but soft looking at the same time so they mesh well visually

I really liked that scene where he caught himself saying you look good and adjusted to saying your hair. It was such a clear sign of his inner feelings starting to just pop out while he tries to manage it.
The Nick coming out scene is so perfectly acted on Kit's part, as well as Olivia Colman doing an amazing job as the parent any LGBTQ+ kid would love to have. The way Kit acts out the stress and pressure of coming out to a loved one, followed by the relief after; I can confidently say he makes it seem like the real thing. It looks exactly as how I felt coming out to my parents.
This just made my day! Thank you very much for this video& I take this as my sign to go and rewatch heartstopper :)
