HOW HARD CAN IT BE? SWAPPING OUT MY BROKEN WINDOW REGULATOR ON MY WRECKED VW POLO!

I finally tackle the faulty window on my VW Polo Mk5. I've been putting this job off for a while as I know too well how hard these can be to replace. The wife's BMW regulator was a nightmare so I'm prepared for the worst. Let's find out what is causing the window not to go up and keep stopping. Hopefully, I can fix the issue once and for all, move on, and get the VW Polo MOT ready.

These new regulators with cable are a nightmare I had to replace two on my jag xf what a pain in the arse you’ve definitely got more patience than me I just replaced mine getting them out was enough for me

Bit of silicone spray around the window rubbers will make the window go up and down a bit better 👌

@@RevivingSalvage don't use silicon spray use ptfe lubricant does not dry out and no problems with paintwork

I’ve seen the door skin come off before but I don’t think it comes off on this model but if it does then that would have definitely made my life easier

Looks like vw designed the mechanism to be either manual or electric .
