What a great video. So many ways to do resist. I like how you did all the little sections, almost like swatching paint colors. Thanks for sharing

Excellent reference video, Keren. Seems like I use some form of resist in my watercolor for texture. One of my favorites is large pink Himalayan course salt. Thanks for this video.

I’m such a beginner I didn’t even know paint resistance was a thing. Way cool. I’m glad you do not assume we already know. I’m really loving art!!

These were great examples of things to do with watercolor. When you did the last singular one, I thought for certain, you were going to wet a Stamp and press it on the paper. The sprinkles is the same thing. Nice job, Keren.

sorry shari just saw your question now 11 months late lol so sorry. The glue acted like a resist so it stays clear under the heart. you don't need to remove it

Love the video! Maybe mod podge would work as well. I NEED to try the salt method. I don't have the big pebbles of salt but I do have the fine grain salt would that work as well?

Thank you so much!!! mod lodge is like gel medium so it might resist it yes. In terms of salt, best to use Kosher salt. The fine grain one won't give you as good results as it clumps up. You can definitely try. But I think I listed the kosher salt from Amazon below the video. its very inexpensive and you can use for cooking as well.

Keren Tamir thank you for the tip about the fine grain salt! I'm really looking forward to try that effect!
