I really like the bass response of the mic (this is a plus of the preamp and is something that is not found in regular cheap piezo mics), the lack of noise, the ability to turn up the gain, and the overload protection! The wire is a bit thick and you can hear touching it and you have to turn phantom power on and off to avoid breakage (it says so in the manual and I don't want to check what happens if you don't follow it).
