I can’t be the only one who loved/hated the mother in this movie, her performance was excellent and had some of the best lines “take a minute, but just a minute”
i wonder what made him turn against her since this whole time he was helping her and even told the mom he would kill her for touching grace. was it because he thought she killed daniel?
@@Nicole-rp2bk I thought it was probably the talk he had with his mother where she told him there was no way that a girl he'd just met knew him better than his mother knew him. And then he saw her kill his mom and I thought he realized he really did care more about his mom than poor grace
@@lanceblazer176 yea, I kind of wished that they could have found a way out of the cult and been together. But her life meant his death, plus he thought she still loved his brother, so it could never be :(
A local horror convention I went to last year did a simulated version of this movie and let me tell you, hearing this song in a pitch black room while masked people try to find you is terrifying.
The song is 106 seconds long, and the countdown for the official game was 100 seconds. Almost on point. Edit: Ignoring the intro and adding in the "Ready or not, here I come" makes it 100 seconds.
I had to check, but I’m surprised this was an original song for the film. It sounds so authentic to the 1920s to early 30s, they really did their homework with the composing and lyrics.
POV: you're some poor businessman in the 1900's and some funny fiery demon walks at you promising eternal fortune for your entire descendant with one simple trick
I liked how Grace and Alex had the worst relationship of any couple in the movie. Everyone else, even Daniel and Charity who did not remotely love each other, respected their partner enough to explain the stakes of joining the family and the game before hand. Only Alex was selfish enough to not even let Grace know and make her own informed choice.

this music is a nightmare, although it feels light and nothing sinister about it. maybe it's the concept of it that I'm scared of. it's almost seeing through the mind of a psychopath, as if he's trying to stalk into someone's house and then tell him/her that he's going to find her and will do harms to them. such a dreadful feeling
I wonder why it strikes with such an ominous threatening feel to it? Even the lyrics are completely benign and nothing scary or even hinting at violence. Yet, the song has an eerily and creepy vibe to it!
I don't know how, but Ready or Not I think became my favorite movie of the year. EVERY character is fleshed out, even Charity who just seems like a grounded and strict girl. It's the funniest movie of the year, with excellent shots!
Charity looked nothing like a grounded and strict girl. It was implied that she wanted cheat on her husband "keep Alex company" She raged on her husband and she showed no remorse for the main character, she also didn't think twice befow trying to kill her.

It was the deaths and that Grace was gonna leave him for good if she escaped, she was already pissed about him not telling her that his family might kill her. If he could not have her, he'd kill her first and save his family.
