Apparently there's a way to f this up that hard locks you. I messed up the tablecloth somehow, no way to change it, so I couldn't ever leave. And exiting the game and coming back resets the day, but everything in the house is the same as I left it, so still can't complete it.
I think I have to restart the game from the beginning :/

@@IbeonFire mines glitched too when i restarted it to fix it and did it properly it was still glitched im a lil upset game is really good so far
Alas this is not uncommon. This happened to me with the bridge and I had to backdoor and cheat to get my save back, took about an hour though
