It's 2003 I think. My brothers raced there a few times at club level. It's a mental track! one of the most challenging around and has claimed a few over the years. Kind of like threading a needle at 150mph with no room for error. Stay safe.
i've done a track day at cadwell park. My first ever time on track with a shed load of pro's in the novice group because the advanced group was full... I absolutely shit myself - it's an amazing track, imo the most technical track in the uk.
yep, cant agree more.....after the races at oulton park i went for a walk round thew pits and he was there just chatting away to all the fans, if you didnt know his face you would think he was just another guy walking round the pits - im sure ive still got one of his vids from the fast bikes mag
This was the year when the tryed 1000 -4,s against 1000 v twins. They had certain extra engine tuning restrictions for the 1000 - 4,s to limit the power a little
The RC-51 is the American "name" of the VTR1000, they're actually the same bikes. Just like the ZX-7R that was still called the ZXR750 in the states too if I'm not mistaken
Brilliant track, always close racing. I'm lucky to have it on my doorstep.
can't believe how close plater is to the bank on the second right hander of hall bends! and great jump from shakey on the last lap.
I've been to Cadwell park before. The jump is giant!
Ducati in the 1st place men !!! : ) amazing spectacular circuit!

I think we should have steve parrish and charlie cox commentating on F1;even if the racing is boring, them two will still make you laugh
Damn, what a track!

Wow... what a crazy course! Must be amazing to watch superbikes there. I have to ask, how safe is it?
Nevermind, I got a good look at the bike finally and saw that it's a RC51 (SP2 for my friends in Europe)
GSX-R1000 vs ZX-7Rs, RC51s, and 996s. Seems fair...
Sick!
First time watching BSB... It's insane :) The jump is at 6:52
@cryogeneric They have made it safer by removing some banks & trees, but it is a fantastic track to ride, the best bike circuit in the UK.
If you like Superbikes check out the I Superbiker trailer! Due for release Spring 2011!
