Great as always! I just signed up for the annual pass for World Anvil using your code! I figure if my players are constanly canceling our play sessions, I can play on this to keep myself in the world, and then hand it off to them to play as well!
My Favorite thing about your RP NPCs is that they aren't overtly antagonistic.. even if you know they're dangerous (or evil) they're not grilling you or bullhead or interrogating you, in their questioning...
I would love to see a tailor or seamstress video! Maybe the adventurer has come in seeking a special new cloak or simply some repairs to their favorite tunic? That is a side of the d&d world we rarely get to see but obviously need. They would have so many stories about their clients!
My character: a potion of invisibility. A strong one. Witch: I cant do that without three months and a vial of fire snake blood. My character: *Stares daggers*
These videos are super fun and helpful! I've just started DMing, and making stuff up on the fly is a bit daunting. I like having this practice as various npcs, to really get into the feel of these characters and make the game more fun
Morelia is my favorite of your npc's. She's just so much fun to talk to and stuff. She's nice, charming, and light hearted. I am planning on using her as a recurring character in my game - if my players allow it ofc.
My current (and for now, only) Character is an Artificer who isn't really fond of "magic" as most people perceive it, but his nephew that he's taking care of during the game is a child mage. It was fun to imagine how this grumpy bastard would respond, and it helped me with my rolplaying. This was fun!
I love these POV RP videos. They're great for practing RP and figuring out your own characters in a low stress environment. Can't wait to see the next one.
Wonderful addition! :) In the future, I'd love to see a POV with Mariska, from the D&D Goes Domestic video. Treat yourself to using a pre-existing character from the GDCU, eh? Plus having her ask about the PC's spending habits and such could be very useful for fleshing out shopping trips, something that's so often completely optimized. Do you tend to save a lot of money, are you a haggler, do you generally find things to sell to shopkeepers, do you build relationships with merchants... and, of course, are you a gambler.
LOL My first thought was the shirt reminded me of the original Bewitched series and I was about to try scrolling the image down to see the whole design! 😅 Love these videos!
I love Morelia so much! Her questions were unique and definitely made me think! In the vein of "brewing something up" for someone, I wonder how a RP video with a bartender or barista trying to mix up a drink for someone would be - a tavern or coffee shop both seem like great places for some conversation.
This one was a lot of fun answering from the pov of my alchemist character, who was looking for something a bit more mystical than what her elixirs could typically do
First one of these I've ever done and I really do think this would help me know what my character would say in these situations. The Heights one I had to think about and I eventually ended up deciding that she's afraid of falling from such heights. Which is funny considering she has a shield that will prevent her from taking fall damage.
@@Randomness823 That's such a cool idea that I wish that was the case. Sadly I was just given to me by the dm for me to able to basically fight off an evil bird version of me. But she's definitely going to want to keep the shield close to her.
Which one would be more useful? My wild mage/druid: ehhh... Breathing under water, I guess. Wait do you have to drink the heroism or can you splash someone with it?
Potions are probably the most practical and quick magic there is. No incantations, meditation or intervention necessary, just down the hatch! Or splash it on like cologne (ablution), or whatever. I really like these, Ginny, one could build a campaign on your characters alone! If you haven't already, rolling up a sheet for them might be fun... EDIT: A mermaid POV might be interesting, maybe have the viewer answer the right way to avoid attack and/or consumption. ; )

That one bard: LITERALLY Stares Daggers
These videos are super fun and helpful! I've just started DMing, and making stuff up on the fly is a bit daunting. I like having this practice as various npcs, to really get into the feel of these characters and make the game more fun
I'm convinced Ginny is working some witchcraft and each of us is seeing a personalized video
The English Accent is very well done; and the costume, set and script are all excellent. Drawing and sheathing the spoon was very smooth.
I love that your shirt looks like Halloween Rachel Maksy speeding away on a Vespa 😂 also this series is my favourite thing ever!!!
LOL My first thought was the shirt reminded me of the original Bewitched series and I was about to try scrolling the image down to see the whole design! 😅 Love these videos!
Omg that’s so cute you’re right!
I love Morelia so much! Her questions were unique and definitely made me think! In the vein of "brewing something up" for someone, I wonder how a RP video with a bartender or barista trying to mix up a drink for someone would be - a tavern or coffee shop both seem like great places for some conversation.
This is so creative and entertaining! I'd watch a hundred of these.
This set is so CUTE i want to LIVE HERE !!
This one was a lot of fun answering from the pov of my alchemist character, who was looking for something a bit more mystical than what her elixirs could typically do
It's wild how much this series has popped off and gotten popular. Go Ginny!
Glad she remembered the quest we did for her, over 7 months later!
are you hiding a secret is an AWESOME question!!! thank you thank you thank you!!!
I use these for my novel characters. It really helps! Also a Varient of her will make it in my novel. She's sweet.
First one of these I've ever done and I really do think this would help me know what my character would say in these situations.
The Heights one I had to think about and I eventually ended up deciding that she's afraid of falling from such heights. Which is funny considering she has a shield that will prevent her from taking fall damage.
That could be why she was drawn to it!
@@Randomness823 That's such a cool idea that I wish that was the case. Sadly I was just given to me by the dm for me to able to basically fight off an evil bird version of me. But she's definitely going to want to keep the shield close to her.
@@Mary_Studios maybe it wasn't the reason she obtained it, but instead the reason she kept it? If you're still wanting to play with that idea
Which one would be more useful?
My wild mage/druid: ehhh... Breathing under water, I guess. Wait do you have to drink the heroism or can you splash someone with it?
Do you have bits or bobs?
My character, who makes the most out of any kill: Do I!?
Potions are probably the most practical and quick magic there is. No incantations, meditation or intervention necessary, just down the hatch! Or splash it on like cologne (ablution), or whatever.
I really like these, Ginny, one could build a campaign on your characters alone! If you haven't already, rolling up a sheet for them might be fun...
EDIT: A mermaid POV might be interesting, maybe have the viewer answer the right way to avoid attack and/or consumption. ; )
Honestly this series is, in my opinion, some of your best work! I'm actually surprised that no one has thought of it by now, excellent work as usual Ginny
You do such a great job with these! The scripting is really really good, and the execution too!
Morelia reminds me of my Firbolg Druid, Flora. All cheery and good vibes. I think if those two ever met they would be great friends. ♥
I love Morelia and look forward to you having an opportunity to have her interact with one of your other characters as well.
I was wondering just which character though! It's a tough decision! :|
@@kennashey, Edith is the most likely case (with the whole thing about Love Potions) though I could see it with Augury as well.
Okay, this might be my new favorite of all your characters! Absolutely charming!
2:40 she start exactly with my favorite potion
I really love these videos. As a DM I encourage my players to watch them. I think it helps them to get into their characters better.
Yes! I love this type of videos! Morelia was my favourite of your elf NPC video
