He still in a good place and I feel the real fall of his label was when he let Ashanti go or wasn't feeling her support any longer. He loved her genuinely in his way. She did him for the business. Just another heartfelt miscommunication.

Ppl keep saying he was married but fail to realize irv was separated and not sleeping with Deb for the last 9 years by time him and ashanti was dealing. Irv had an apartment in Manhattan and Deb had the house in New rochelle. Deb said it herself at that point they just had paperwork and he would come see the kids on the weekends. The reason ashanti was comfortable dealing with him was cuz of that reason BUT remember irv had several women he was linked to at that time so ashanti jumped in another relationship which got him upset. I'm willing to bet if irv didn't have those other women ashanti would have stayed with irv for sure but why stay when he has other women as well that's probably why she was comfortable being with Nelly.
