- This short video takes you inside my latest watercolor sketchbook where I show you one of the pages I have been working on, in three different phases, including the finished piece. This has to be one of my favorite works, I am really pleased with how it turned out.

This work was inspired by a clay sculpture model created by the incredibly talented French artist, Valerie Hadida.
Colors:
For this piece I used colors from Daniel Smith (DS), Van Gogh (VG), M Graham (MG), Winsor & Newton (WN), and Holbein (H). Colors include DS Buff Titanium, DS Titanium Gray, DS Monte Amiata Natural Sienna, DS Lunar Blue, DS Phthalo Turquoise, DS Ultramarine Blue, DS Cobalt Teal, DS Wisteria, H Grey of Grey, VG Raw Sienna, and WN Potter's Pink.
Paper:
Fabriano Kilimanjaro, 100% cotton, cold press - 10x16 inches.

I realize I left out DS Transparent Red Oxide from the list of colors used in the video description. It is definitely featured prominently in the hair.
