Greame = the most awesome sea angler in the UK Tommo = the most polite, intelligent and helpful skipper in the UK. Will definitely book a trip with you once I'll be around. Fantastic, thanks!
Great vid 👍🏻 rough it in the car plenty of times when towing the boat from the midlands to plymouth. Get about an hour away from the slip and park up 😂 good tip for taking the weight off when landing clonks and bangs get expensive
Fished on the Lorna Doon last Sunday. A great skipper and boat, plenty of fish caught, Mackeral, Pollack, Bull Huss, Tope and Gurnard,Rockling and of course Doggies. Would highly recommend.
No B&B 's in the area, and I certainly won't be flashing out fancy prices for just a few hours of sleep. Its different after September, the nights are longer and a lot colder,so I generally B&B then.
epic as usual, could you set up a members page (paid) think you would get a few of us... plus a live question hour or something? cheers bud & thanks again for the videos over the years
So true today in Dungeness Kent 90min fishing sessions manage to get around 30 fishing most of them where dog fishing but manage to get few bass as well 😁
I couldn't sleep just sitting upright in a car but with an Estate I can get my camp bed straight in the back so I can lie flat. A lot drier than camping in a tent, faster,no probs if it rains.I don't have to pack up a wet tent I just drive away .
Still on th I.V.drip straight into the heart...finishes the liquid bombardment next Weds I think, then onto strong pills for 2 weeks...hopefully that gets rid of the E.Coli antibiotic resistant strain and he can start building up again... No alcohol either !!...now that would be a bit tough for a month....I think I'll take his ration of that to save it going to waste. We are round his for a Barby tomorrow and I figure everything will be extremely well cooked....!!
Muntjack is definitely great . The only Deer to not have a closed season.. Meaning you can hunt them all year . As a retired gamekeeper I have been able to enjoy stalking deer out of all the the deer species muntjack are my favorite to hunt and to eat..
Without sounding too pessimistic, would you consider finally revealing to us what's in your raptor oil before you kick the bucket lol I sincerely hope you have many more years fishing left in you but it would be a great shame to let this secret be lost to time. I and I'm sure many others are extremely curious!
@TAFishing I wonder if you've ever considered bringing raptor oil to the market 🤔 I bet people would buy it...I mean we buy all sorts of glug n stuff just on the chance of a what if 😆
@@stevenrawlinson8741 Move the boat! You cast from shore to get your bate in the desired place. But on a boat if your not in a desired place you move, So the question still stands why cast on a boat. Genuin question! Why not is not an answer.
@@pickled6956 You think pulling anchors & bouys and starting up big engines is easier than simply casting off a bit? Get a big fish and they can make the line going under the vessel / anchor chain etc. But why would someone want to uproot the actual boat !!
Its called Uptiding..a standard technique for relatively shallow water. First popularised off the Essex coast I believe, and works very well in many areas. the belief is that fish might be put off by the humming of the rope in shallow water in a strong tide,so the technique was originally developed for that.

You won't find a more polite skipper ,and gives out the best information.
Excellent video, Graeme, great to see you out smashing it again!

Wow, it's really good. It's very attractive and the AD is very interesting
The professor of angling on a watchet summer boat is as good as it gets really.

Top drawer Graeme..

Thank you for making my Friday evening Mr G! I missed seeing you on the sea. what a great bit of fishing that was.
It was good to get out on the saltwater again...made me realise how much I miss it.

Ooh that venison looked sooooo damn delicious. Great one sir, great one.
It was indeed tasty, and that was with me cooking it...imagine a proper chef cooking it.

More to come, was filming with Grant this evening.

Good to get some action from the shore.
Thankfully I've never struggled with crabs!
good vid on channel
Tommo seems like a decent sort , nice boat too .
Very knowledgable and seems to be on first name terms with all the fish in his area !!!
Get yourself a camper like the old days Graeme best wishes Paul

Finish off the venison with a spoon of redcurrant or blackcurrant jelly and a splash of port for a delicious sauce.
Thanks for the tip...First I have to get another deer...
Nice video as always Graeme, just wondering how Mike is getting on ?

👍👍👍
What happened to that broccoli, Graeme?!
72 sleeping in the back of a car?! You legend.
I actually don't mind it...I do it while I still can,and of course it buys me a bit more fishing and travelling time.
yes fish are in the sea
TA, can I go fishing with you
Nice trip. Why does the water look so filthy?
From the silt in suspension that washes up and down the Bristol channel in the strong tides. It looks strange but is full of fish.
@@TAFishing Ah I see, thanks for explaining. kipping in the car proves your keeping it real, your a national treasure mate. Keep the vids rollin.
What fish was that seagul eating?
Birds Eye 100% Cod Fish Fingers .
It was a Rainbow trout ??? How on earth did it get onto Watchet pier ??

Thanks for the comment I never knew they had no season closure. Are they a problem species ? Or maybe over abundant ?

I hope to hang on to that one,and also my secret Catfish bait and prep . The latter still needs a few more years of confirmed testing .!!

Why would you cast on a boat?
Why not
keeps lines away from boat even if its 10 meters

man that was shite broccoli, just like my nan used to make it, hard boiled for half an hour😱
😂😂😂😂 mum was the same and with sprouts, not that I eat sprouts now since, broccoli needs doing properly or it goes bitter and mushy.
Tasted all right when it went down, probably aided by the beer I suspect.
I see the toilet isn’t quite en-suite 😂
Looks like Tommo’s got new engines too.
