    Great vid 👍🏻 rough it in the car plenty of times when towing the boat from the midlands to plymouth. Get about an hour away from the slip and park up 😂 good tip for taking the weight off when landing clonks and bangs get expensive

      No B&B 's in the area,and I certainly won't be flashing out fancy prices for just a few hours of sleep.Its different after September,the nights are longer and a lot colder,so I generally B&B then.

      I couldn't sleep just sitting upright in a car but with an Estate I can get my camp bed straight in the back so I can lie flat. A lot drier than camping in a tent,faster,no probs if it rains.I don't have to pack up a wet tent I just drive away .

      Still on th I.V.drip straight into the heart...finishes the liquid bombardment next Weds I think,then onto strong pills for 2 weeks...hopefully that gets rid of the E.Coli antibiotic resistant strain and he can start building up again... No alcohol either !!...now that would be a bit tough for a month....I think I'll take his ration of that to save it going to waste. We are round his for a Barby tomorrow and I figure everything will be extremely well cooked....!!

    Without sounding too pessimistic, would you consider finally revealing to us what's in your raptor oil before you kick the bucket lol I sincerely hope you have many more years fishing left in you but it would be a great shame to let this secret be lost to time. I and I'm sure many others are extremely curious!

      @@pickled6956 You think pulling anchors & bouys and starting up big engines is easier than simply casting off a bit? Get a big fish and they can make the line going under the vessel / anchor chain etc. But why would someone want to uproot the actual boat !!

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  5 місяців тому +3

      Its called Uptiding..a standard technique for relatively shallow water. First popularised off the Essex coast I believe,and works very well in many areas. the belief is that fish might be put off by the humming of the rope in shallow water in a strong tide,so the technique was originally developed for that.
