    I'm sorry for the rude negative comments you get. I am thankful for you and what you show us. Some I try, and some I don't, but I am always grateful for the time you spend to bring us something. Please do not get discouraged. You are an encouragement to me.

    Love this technique! I tried it last week and couldn't understand why I wasn't getting any bubbles!! Well, watching this video I remembered the liquid soap!! Now I will try it again and hopefully I'll follow the procedure correctly!! The Lord has given you a gift and you display it through your art, love of color, and down to earth explanations!!! You are a blessing to me!!! Hugs!!!

    I cannot imagine why anyone would be “rude” to you...we must pray for those who are troubled I guess...I am always so grateful And inspired by your artistry...thank you for spending time in The Word and in “your creativity” with us💜

    Absolutely LOVE this technique. If this is a bible you don’t use for studying, then there is no reason you can’t cover the word. The important thing is that you are spending time in his word and it is “your” time with HIM. He knows your heart and that you are not trying to desecrate His word. Thank you for sharing this. A definite “TRY” for me!!

    (you could tape a piece paper to cover the scripture)

    • @miriamaguirre3026
      @miriamaguirre3026 6 років тому

      Yes I have seen people use washi tape. People first stick the washi tape on their hands (to remove a bit of the tackiness), then place the washi tape on the scripture, when they are done they remove it. I have also seen rubber cement used to protect Bible verses.

    • @dibbers75
      @dibbers75 6 років тому

      just what I was thinking of using. so how do you remove the rubber cement? is it easy to take off? great idea!

    • @miriamaguirre3026
      @miriamaguirre3026 6 років тому

      Lois Almudarris I personally haven't used it, of course i have all this material that I have NOT used...rubber cement being one, but it looked like you just rub it off.

    • @ScribblingGrace

    It is a cool technique, but since I am a perfectionist, this triggers me... I cannot stand the little splats of paint all over the place... but good job and a very nice channel, definitely inspiring. Keep it up and God bless!

    • @avaDesdemona

      Try watercolors! Or you could "tape off" the writing by covering it with a sheet of paper and stick to just the margin that way :-)

  • @jofreeman5740
    @jofreeman5740 6 років тому +3

    You did cover up the scriptures which is the meat of God's word and spending time in the word. The Bible is not a coloring book. Biblical Instruction Before Leaving Earth = BIBLE.

    • @meghanfloyd6870
      @meghanfloyd6870 6 років тому +6

      Jo Freeman everyone's preference is different. It's not ok to tell someone how they spend time in the word is wrong.

    • @macymarie2169
      @macymarie2169 6 років тому +9

      Jo Freeman Most of us who bible journal/do art in our bible have a bible for art and one for reading/studying. I find that by taking the time to make art in God's word, I am glorifying Him further. I am not defacing the word, I feel personally that I am growing closer to Him as I take the time and use the gift He has blessed me with. If you don't think your bible is a "coloring book", then don't do it. Even my study bible has pen notes and highlighting and studies..

    • @msjr1765
      @msjr1765 6 років тому +5

      People isolate verses of God's word and stick them on a wall with art, they are leaving out all the other words of the bible....is that wrong too? What is so different about taking 1 page and isolating a verse there? God's words dwells in our hearts, not on a page. Covering it up has more to do with not speaking out about our Heavenly Father, and about not living a life that shows His love.

    • @strawberryaudrey
      @strawberryaudrey 6 років тому +1

      Jo Freeman it's fine if you don't like this or even that you believe it's wrong but I'm not sure why you would even watch it?

    • @strawberryaudrey
      @strawberryaudrey 6 років тому +3

      The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us... If Christ is in our hearts His Word is not contained in a book. The physical Bible is a tool not The Word.
