This is my favourite game of all time. I got grounded for two weeks from stealing change from my dad to play this. He busted me in the middle of a game. Was worth it.
@@justinzaff Not the same as having the wheel and pedal. My friend and I spent countless quarters and time on this game prior and after elementary school. We were pros at this game, lol.
My cousin and I would walk down to the corner 7 eleven and play this after school. We would get a bunch of nickels and smash them with a hammer until they get to the size of a quarter and the machine would take them lol... Good times
The arcade games were the best, the ports never done it justice for me. I played the Spectrum version of this and that was a nightmare to steer, hence I used to call it "Super Shite".
@@dublinvanlife466yes i remember that! It had a great racing feel to it. In the 90s we could play this and Pole Position at my school in the cafeteria. For free! It was a queue of like 15 people for each machine during rush hour.

LOL I had intended to do the Spectrum version originally, but you said it best there!
It was all about spinning that steering wheel through your hands and stopping it at just the right time to get around a corner and not hit the wall.
