this podcast is fkn sick , as a fan of college wrestling for 7+ years it’s awesome to see such well crafted content around the sport. also from wisco so cool to see you grow 🙌🏼
I would want an adult folk style league and bringing freestyle, oversees dudes, ufc and bjj stars to the league. I would watch that and I think it do well in viewership! Cayden you should organize it, an adult folkstyle league or “championship” would be great!
The reason why I think wrestling is the hardest sport is because you can describe the entire sport in two words: MENTAL WARFARE. I guess even the greats in the sport have questioned themselves. Which is insane to me.
This is absolute fire been watching you since junior year in ur highschool career and always have been such an inspiration it's amazing to see you having fun with your life I knew you were gonna blow up keep it up PLEASE 👍👍👍
I havent watched to much of Beau, but this kid has personality. Im a fan....im goong to go back and watch his matches and watch his future ones. I hope he wins ncaa's. The podcast is awesome. You guys get the athletes to open up and be themselves!
34:45 I think that adult wrestling has to change from “going live” to “rolling” as an adult who didn’t wrestle as a kid me helping to coach in a high school room is the “only way” to get the experience. I plan to compete in beach wrestling but how do you grow the adult wrestling opportunities!
Give some respect to the prep circuit... Beau, Mark Perry, Ed Ruth, Myles Martin, KYLE SNYDER, lot of good wrestlers in the past and in the present too. Luke Lilledahl, Joe Sealey, Leo DeLuca are all current wrestlers
I’m 35 and wanted to pick up wrestling again but there are little to no options near me (suburb of NYC). I opted for jiu jitsu because it’s much more readily available plus there are a lot of opportunities for competitions if you want.
I wish there were more wrestling schools in south florida. All the wrestling schools and the good ones are in middle or north of florida or in tampa where a lot of WWF wrestlers live……
It’s easy for Cael to take a hands off approach when you recruit the best guys in the country over and over again. If you got it, you’ll figure it out. If not, you’ll be replaced 🤷🏻♂️
I agree with about 90%. Recruiting the best guys, they're pretty much already set in their styles, however I will say, that last 10% I don't agree with you on is that guys still tend to transfer out of pennstate so it's not for everyone.
@@clashofcombat certainly not a knock on Cael or Penn State. It’s just when you get top recruits, they know what they are doing and you let them go at it. Not every top recruit turns into a top college wrestler and when they get to college and get treated with a hands off approach, we find that out. It’s a great coaching style to separate the real ones from everyone else.
Great pod. The other kid outside of Cayden doesn’t really know much about wrestling but I appreciate his effort. When he said Beau was the first to all American without being a state champ.. does he not realize Blair and Wyoming seminary quite literally have dozens of national champs and all Americans lol.. He’s learning tho. Great pod

Wrestling is growing. I wrestled D1 in the late 90s. They are adding more teams every year. D3 has 110 teams now.
Need the audience to grow

Offer your body to local high school community College as an assistant. Wrestling can be as cheap as free
Would love to see you sit down with Desanto
There is a Wyoming, California, Indiana and an Oklahoma in PA.
Dude beau seems like such a cool guy, I was hoping he was going to be at the UWG camp but Sean said beau was booked for camps

NCAA tournament viewership was down because of March madness, buuuut the ufc ppv was the main killer for 2023 ncaa tournament.
Next we need Bo Nickal
Sooooooon

Appreciate your content for the wrestling world.
How much more eligibility does he have?
Two years I think
Shayne Vaness or Shane grifith
😮
CPs favorite Nittany Lion
Fr
Drew Foster also never won a state title
Me either
Beau is that gut
🦁
Bartlett needs to quit the PSU wrestling team and transfer to OU. I don't say that for greedy reasons or anything...
bro what
i vs a kid from lhp
Why all the silly giggling? Sound like 6 year old girls.
🤡
