Yes I was behind to the left abit I took my boy and brother for the first time it was great but the wind was crazy and we didn't all have the correct sleep mats and bags lol so a little cold but great fun

I was up on Gummers Howe above Windermere last night with my sons. Gorgeous night and found somewhere out of the wind. Got a bit chilly though but my OEX ev300 bag got me through fine. I bought it on your recommendation.
Glad you enjoyed the camp! There are tons of cracking spots in the Peak District. Derwent Edge has loooads of great spots along it with incredible views over the reservoirs and across to the Kinder Plateau. Does get quite windy though! I like to pitch up next to rock formations to break the wind a bit.
It's a decent spot there for the views, Alport Castles is worth a camp too if you head to that area again....That oex stove looks like a re badged fire maple stove, They are good stoves...👍
Its all about adventure. Seeing amazing sites connecting and appreciating what many consider to be the creation. The wonder and awe of it all. Very enchanting and mesmerising.I was in whitby and Scarborough last weekend wild camping. Great experience.
I keep saying I’m going to get up there for a camp, it’s only about a 35 min drive for me to park in same spot you did. I got to get my act together and do it. Great to see you out of the woods and in such a beautiful location, great video. Thanks for showing us.
The stars are amazing with no light pollution, try looking up with binoculars too - its mind blowing what's actually up there 😯 lovely location thank you 😊

Great video 👍 when I do this I always cook a bacon sandwich takes up no more room and really hits the spot 👍my son is in the army and uses a jet boil for all his food and then gets jealous when I pull out my frying pan and start knocking up some proper food 😁👍great video 👍👍🍻

I broke my ankle 4 months ago at Lady Bower. I’m just starting to mend now after surgery, but it’s still an amazing place. Great video as always and can’t wait to get out when my leg is a bit better.
Nice one Dan; just come back from Malham Cove on Sunday night, it is spectacular up there. Janet's Foss was cool, but too many people about, no proper social distancing and had to take a test in town yesterday to make sure I didn't have the lurgy. I'm thinking about lads wearing clothes in their sleeping bags perhaps needing some form of warm fleecy pj's or onesy. Might be a good line in cloths...lol. I might check out the peaks next year. I have a lot of places to check yet. Happy Camping, good video Dan as per fella.

Just watching youtube and thought I recognised you guys, I think I talked to you briefly this morning at Ladybower cafe butty van, I had just come down from Crookstone Knoll on Kinder and you mentioned you'd been up Bamford edge? I know what you mean about the wind last night, it was the same up where I was but it was a nice night and I still managed to get some kip. I can vouch for the OEX poles, got some myself, nice and lightweight. I've also got an OEX 4 season sleeping bag which I've used in all weathers...Enjoyed your video, cheers.

My mate was up there that night he said there was about15 tents fella!?! It's a shame so many people are going up there nowadays,next thing the bloody powers that be will get it all stopped coz the councils etc aren't making any money from everyone pitching up etc and also they be saying it's illegal and spoil everyone's fun!!! I know you lads always clean up Dan but others are leaving bloody shite every where unfortunately,but brilliant to see you lads out of them woods ,it was getting a little bit repetitive bud,more of these please fella👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻😎🇬🇧

Those things that keep the trekking poles together are to insert into the bottom of poles for snowy condition
