you know nothing about buddha first of all, buddha is not a person but basic awareness which everyone posses. siddhartha guatam, you may say left palace, wealth, etc to seek the truth, not that palace or wealth is a hindrance. statues are made to admire or remember his gifts or contribution made to human upliftment. muslims too worship statues in different forms like sufi masters tomb or black stone in mecca, otherwise why need to circumbulate. lol. so take your ignorant religion views for yourself, leave other religion in peace. why need to impose your views as superior, only fools or insecure religion does that.
