- Paul Shortino, formerly of Rough Cutt and Quiet Riot, performs at the public memorial service for Ronnie James Dio. Paul tells a brief story which is hard to hear at times due to the outdoor taping and wind, but you'll still clearly feel his pain in his heartfelt delivery. Paul chose to sing a Beatles classic (probably my all time favorite Beatles song so I was thrilled to hear it).
Of all people to have at Ronnie's memorial. This is surprising.
Paul is great singer and a better human being...
... I have no words :'( ...
You can tell how deeply affected he was by this tragedy.
He really was suffering by the ronnie death

@mickey62056 Do you have proof of this?
what a guy
Notice the thunder after Ronnie starts speaking.
I meant after Paul started speaking.
It tears through me to watch this. Not only seeing Paul's heartache, but also the knowledge that Ronnie, whom i had the privilege of seeing live, many times, is no longer with us. We love you Paul, and we love and miss you Ronnie... RIP! \m/
God bless you, Paul. That was understandably difficult for you. You did good, my friend! You and Ronnie (RIP) = the most amazing voices in the world! So many others too, but you guys rule! Keep smilin' and keep rockin', Dude. We love you, and we so miss and love Ronnie! I must give my respects to Pete Steele (Type O Negative) here, too. A bad year for real rock! We will never forget, and we will never stop listening. Nice one, Paul! And nice choice of song here, too... \m/ x
Amazing.
The guy simply touched my heart right now...
Paul had a rockin' show this past Friday at Pipeline Hawaii! Awesome singer!
