    Sleeping kitten third car.
New controlled signals are all turned on from Lorette eastward. They're working on all the power lines for the new approach/intermediate ones.

@GEES44DC Awesome! I actually didn't notice the Chessie sleeping kitten! Thanks. I have seen the signals are all in action now. I can't wait to see the new one at 97.9 Sprague sub working. They should then take out the pole line and cut all the brush along the south side of the track. An RCMP officer visited me again this weekend saying that a train crew reported me for standing too close to the trains. I stand at 30 feet, usually. 30 feet from the nearest railhead is a good recording distance. Some say 50 feet, but at Baynham, that's not possible with all of the brush along the ROW. Last November, I had a guy who reported me because he was miserable and didn't like me there. I heard that on my scanner. I very seldom stand closer than 30 feet, so I don't know what his problem was. He is probably one of those guys who hate railfans. He should work in the diesel locomotive shop if he is going to be like that. My brother in law's good friend works for CN, and he worked at the Symington yards diesel locomotive shop, and he was bullied by the senior mechanics. He now works at the office downtown. A son of a friend of mine just got a job as a conductor for CN. His name is Kyle Henley. I know him from Ingolf as his parents have property there. There were lots of quads and dirtbikes running around this weekend, too. Maybe that's what caused the crew to report it to the police.

@cpeast There are a number of guys who just hate anyone with a hobby they think is weird. Their own lives are miserable so they have to pass it on to everyone.
CN won't take those pole lines down unless forced to, or it makes them money somehow.
Same with the brush. Until crews or the government starts making noise, it'll stay.

I don't believe in firing those kinds of guys, but with that poor attitude, they don't deserve to work on the train. That is just my personal opinion. They should work in the diesel shop because I hear there are miserable guys working there. My brother in law 's friend Jim Shultz worked at Transcona and Symington, and he was constantly bullied by the older mechanics.
As for the pole lines and brush I think private contractors get to work on that. I was railfaning the Rivers sub near Portage La Prairie and I saw a landscape contractor removing the pole lines. He gave me heck for taking insulators! I have a massive insulators collection at home.
