Ayyy my boy posted, been waiting for this.
The Stranger was one of my favorites from high school. I need to reread it as an adult. The sad thing is that I still may relate to the nothingness and languishing perspective the main character had towards life even today as an adult as I had felt in high school. The main character simply goes with whatever flow life takes him through, even if it destructive and could lead to his own demise.
Siddhartha by Herman Hesse was also a good read from high school that I need to read as an adult. It isn’t a religious text or anything. It’s simply a story that many can relate to in trying to navigate life and find joy in it with everything the material world has to offer. Things like money, women, wealth, and influence, do bring some temporary joy, but it isn’t long lasting. It wasn’t until Siddhartha learned to detach from these things he seemed to find his true higher purpose.
What is the most important book/should I read first?
Meditations
How to win friends and influence people
Atomic Habits
I would recommend, do androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K Dick
Why people don't see this types of viedios
books are the biggest cope
Yeah cope
Life is a cope for death
