Thanks! That's a great goal... just steadily improve on learning the parts. That will also make you feel more at ease on a Sunday because you don't have to "come up" with a harmony part, but you can just sing what you already prepared. 👍
Nice Nate ! Good points... Thankful for your channel. I'm 65 - and never had any musical background - but always enjoyed singing. Had decided to start learning some hymns. Then a couple of our regular singers were out on Vacation, Holy Spirit prompted me to volunteer. Trusting the Holy Spirit and not myself -- the worship went well - the Holy Spirit clearly "filling in" the rough spots. And it worked out well. Ooooh it was so wonderful to sing my heart out to God that I could just cry. And they pulled me permanently into the team. So trying my best to learn what I can to improve. BUT must still ALWAYs be praying for the Holy Spirit to be there whether I sing or preach. This singing - could even help me when preaching. Anyway -- thankyou, and appreciate what you said about always thinking about Lord and the words as we sing. Amen.
