We must start a petition to get him into actual commercials and ads. He is definitely more interesting than the current, new "most interesting man" by a mile.
moo moo I think I know what you’re talking about. I’ve literally seen them wait patiently until someone opens a door for them to come inside a building. The brown June Bugs on the other hand......
Thanks for saving the animals, Hank! So many humans don't give a damn or go out of their way to cause harm and suffering. You're a great guy, and supremely talented, too! Enjoy a great life, and thanks for the videos!
I hate it when I hear of people cheering the driver on to run over the animals they see on the street. Thankfully, I haven't heard of a driver actually listening to the psychopaths telling them to do so yet. But calling them psychopath is an insult to psychopaths- at least most psychopaths have morals, unlike them.. For goodness' sake, it's amazing to me how people who (at least mostly) lack empathy can sometimes be so much better than some people out there..
You are enlightened , they unenlightened . It is the duty , sacred task for the enlightened to at least attempt to enlighten the unenlightened. Occasionally as in the case of modern day chumplicans this task is insurmountable. As the modern sage Joe Walsh indicated with the " Live at Carnegie Hall " , " You Can't Argue With a Sick Mind " ! Also , as another modern sage has so eloquently stated , " You Can't Fix Stupid ". THE VILLAGE IDIOT:
yea.. cheers.! That was unexpected! yes, indeed you are very weird. Incidentally, I never thought that a person who really cheats on death so easily do actually exist in this world! Indeed Admirable! you're so full of Awesomeness! and what I find really interesting is that you're radiating with joy and enthusiasm especially when faced with the planet's deadliest reptiles and life's greatest challenges or maybe disaster...
The Box Turtle seemed unconvinced of your description of the positives of bad traffic. You're doing great work here, both with the sky and the animals on the land. This channel deserves far more subscriptions than it currently has. Keep up the great work.
it’s not that he’s unconvinced. i mean he wanted to commit suicide, so he’s just a depressed little box boi. poor guy has ptsd from getting trampled over by vietnamese farmers during the war.
handling poisonous snakes, etc., is impressive, and all...but being able to get through that last shot without swallowing a fly is truly astounding. good job!
I don't think he handled any venomous snakes in this, at least not any with deadly venom! EDIT: Nevermind I got to the part where he KIND OF handles a venomous one. With a stick, but he still does it. My bad :)
I've been devouring your storm videos ever since I discovered your channel but this is the first all-animal one I've seen. What a treat. I love snakes and would so much like to learn how to work with or make "friends" with them for a magical few moments, but it is the turtles I really loved. The water turtle was amazing; those big webbed feet and flat shell let him swim like a rocket. If I didn't have 2 rescue cats in a tiny apartment I'd get a snake or a lizard for extra company. However, when it comes to insects or arachnids you can count me out. I am extremely fond of bats, lizards, frogs or any other creature that eat insects.
Thanks for watching Holly. Most people have a natural distaste for bugs. But if you override the impulse, you'll be surprised how cool they actually are. I'm more comfortable with bees and spiders crawling on me then I am eating dinner around other people. :D
I actually used to be terrified of spiders, one of my biggest fears, perhaps bigger than tornadoes (which as you can probably guess by the channel, I also kind of developed out of that lol) but over time, after not only learning more about them, and watching channels like this (which handle them all the time,) I slowly learned without even realizing to love them. To be fair, I never hated them, I was just afraid of them- but I never had anything personally against them. But after all that, it turned to love. I'll handle one any day! I fully believe that if you keep on thinking logically, and keep on watching channels like this (which show how harmless bugs are,) you will be able to get over your fear. I know you've probably heard from a lot of people that you can.. but take it from me, an ex-spider fearer, when I say you truly CAN not only get over it- but improve far beyond even the average person. I never feared other bugs.. but I was grossed out by them, and that changed too, so I'm sure that I could've gotten over a fear like that too. So don't worry about that either.
Nice box turtle. Thank you for rescuing her/him. My wife does that too. She's always bringing some snake or lizard home, gives it a feed, and releases it. We raise Ball Pythons, and the rats they eat. We love all animals, but draw the line at spiders and scorpions.
Hank, I was driving through central Illinois yesterday and as I'm driving along, I spotted a decent sized snapping turtle just finished crossing the road in front of me, and of course, what's the first thing I think? Hank would have loved this guy
Not what I expected when I subscribed to a Storm Chaser's UA-cam Channel, and I love it! Love your appreciation for animals, Love that your job is storm chasing. Glad I'm signed on.
Please please PLEASE do more of these! I love these videos! Your humor is amazing and I love how you are so gentle with them and always want the best for them!
0:48--1:28 "We call this 'Traffic' ..." LOL OMG I was howling! Trying to teach a nature critter about the stupidity of man. LOL and I haven't even watched the rest yet! Classic comedy.
I mean honestly, that turtle looked like it was truly listening to what Hank was saying! God bless you Hank. Your more than a crazy musician who chases tornadoes. You my hero
I subbed for the storms a long time ago but I am always pleasantly surprised by all of your content. thanks for being awesome and having the time to document it for us too.
0:51. I had a pet turtle just like that as a kid..omg she loved cantaloupe ,watermelon, fresh cucumber and lettuce, greenbeans lol.she even liked cheese balls ..id hear her crunching as i did my homework ..i loved her ..Annie was her name 😄😄😍
I never was scared of snakes. Theyve always been pretty friendly. Never encountered a Scorpion except at a zoo. But the Spiders man, the spiders... But the snakes are always the sweetest things in the world. Garter Snakes, Pine Snakes, and even Timber Rattlers always cozied up to me. Hell, there’s a Timber Rattlesnake family right in my backyard. They cool.
You haven't convinced me of how creepy crawlies are sweet, but I enjoy them crawling all over you (as I'm shivering of creepyness myself). Glad Canada doesn't have any of those...I hope. Keep those videos coming!
Imagine driving through traffic when you for no reason look for the person driving next to you, who appears to be holding up a turtle and talking to it.
Aw this was great. I always help animals when I see them like this. Some say I'm crazy for helping things like little bugs, but it's my good deed for the day! :) Take care!
I hear the same thing about helping animals and insects. I really don't give a shi*t what people think about it. I have more feelings towards the animal world than most people.
my daughter and I have been fans of your channel and watched it the last couple of years....she's 11 now but we always enjoy coming back and seeing your adventures. thanks man!!!
*Pecos Hank* you are one cool and fearless dude! I discovered your tornado videos over the weekend, and now I'm obsessed. Keep up the good work! Also, thank you for looking out for the animals. You have a big heart. Take care, and be well!
Snakes are beautiful. Many of them are colorful with lovely patterns. And the way they move is so graceful. And the way they think is so completely alien to us...
My youngest niece also loves turtles, I had to stop and take a picture of a rather comical turtle crossing sign in a housing complex out travelling during the quarantine. My mother said she was gonna send the picture to my niece, I just laughed. I like turtles as well.
I really appreciate you helping all of these animals, especially the reptiles, amphibians and insects that people don't seem to care about as much. Whenever you show a snake on screen it makes me imagine if my snake was just out in danger and it breaks my heart
Thanks for this one. Loved it. I always find your animal interactions both humorous and fascinating, so to have a medley video of such interactions is an awesome thing. You rock, Hank!
Love the ukulele cover of "Something" in the background of the horses and the snake. I mostly watch your storm chasing stuff but man, you know how to make anything interesting and tell a good story doing so. I'm not really into animals but I'm still captivated by your animal videos.
@pecos hank - I love that you included all the variety of experiences that you have had out on your adventures. The good, the not so good and the beautiful :) Myself and my family have thoroughly been enjoying your UA-cam channel! The videos are really helping to take the edge off of quarantine cabin fervor. Thank you and much love!
I’ve come across your tornado chasing videos recently, and love your calm style, information, beautiful videos, and wit. But this is the one that made me subscribe. I love how you care for all the animals you meet, too. I’ve seen you help animals in some of your chasing videos, and also the one video where you bonded with the lizards in your back yard. Your intuition with tornadoes and storms...communicating with animals... There's only one explanation: YER A WIZARD, HANKY. ... Seriously, though -- this video warmed my heart. Also, I think you'd be fantastic at Pokemon GO. "Hank, why're you running towards that EF5??" "THERE'S A SNORLAX IN THAT FIELD, DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE THOSE ARE?!?"
You are the best Hank!! .. I love and respect insects & spiders, but there is just no way I could stand having them touch me! .. Thank you so much for helping all of them though!!
I love the drunk June bug! Anyway he could do a guest commentary every once in a while? It can't cost much to get him drunk, even if he likes single malts.
I love this 😍 it's so awesome that you look out for the animals and critters on the road. Not a lot of people would do that. So you have my deepest respect 😁
I truly appreciate and respect what you do with your time that others wouldnt even think to do. Your selflessness and generosity to others that share this earth is incredible. Thank you
You are a very fortunate person to have the freedom and time to be in harmony with nature. You also have a great heart. If everyone was as compassionate as you are then just imagine.
I seriously can't love this video anymore!💖😍 Hank, you are incredible.... All the creepy crawlies(snakes, spiders, scorpions) are so misunderstood but such amazing animals to work with. Thanks for bringing that out in your video!💖
I have a love for most animals. Anything with no legs or more than four legs...those are a no go to me. Always has been that way, I know they probably won't bite me if I don't mess with them or try to handle them so I just leave it at that. "You don't bother me and I won't bother you." But it's fascinating watching someone like you interacting with all these wild animals. Really cool stuff.
Cool video and channel here. It's good to see people like yourself making videos on nature and wildlife that provide a much needed alternative to all the video game, movie review, trailer reaction, comedy skit, teenage rant etc. etc. (a.k.a. garbage) videos that are flooding this site by the hour. You can add my subscription to the rest.
Hank: I homeschool our children and my kids my husband, and I LOVE your videos. Where else can see nature at its best (and worst) animals, AND amazing music all on the same channel? I have 3 school subjects covered for media time right here!
Dido Hank! Love the way you save these animals. They're innocent, mean no harm and only try to protect themselves. They deserve our compassion. Yeah, get out more! Do it before you get too old!
I love watching you explain fat people and road rage to a turtle
ikr i want a turtle like that
Nate Landherr ??
Funny thing is the turtle really looks like its listening :D
And then she looks at the camera eerily and is like “What is this~”
Gotta learn someday
Pecos Hank is now officially the most interesting man alive.
That is true
Yes
That was always true.
We must start a petition to get him into actual commercials and ads. He is definitely more interesting than the current, new "most interesting man" by a mile.
Yeah get him to do the weather forecast obviously
I love how at 1:20 the box turtle actually looks like it's listening :D
same hehehe
he is listening
i have a turtle on my channel
They do listen. My all 3 tortoises do the same thing. 😂😍

the bugs we called June bugs are really iridescent green, but I know that kind of bug , its really stupid, dont think they fly too well, haha
moo moo A few weeks ago, there was a June bug that continuously slammed itself into a garage door
June bugs just can't fly correctly lmao
''I'm not drunk ociffer.... "
moo moo I think I know what you’re talking about. I’ve literally seen them wait patiently until someone opens a door for them to come inside a building. The brown June Bugs on the other hand......
🤣🤣
Imagine watching him from the outside.
"Why is that man talking to a turtle?"
Because he's a cool guy
The Dad said "Son thats called being nice."
Why not?
The drunken June bug was my favourite. I haven’t laughed that hard in ages! 😂 “Hey, taco truck!” 😂
"Scuse me? I'm not drunk ociffer." lol
Man, every June bug is drunken. You wake up and theres 30 of them dead on your porch.
4:32 is when it starts. For your entertainment and my convience.
Saaaaaaaaame that’s my favorite part lol
I was laughing so hard I almost passed out.
Thanks for saving the animals, Hank! So many humans don't give a damn or go out of their way to cause harm and suffering. You're a great guy, and supremely talented, too! Enjoy a great life, and thanks for the videos!
Thanks for watching Barbara.

Absolutely!
Glad you appreciate my material... and are annoyed at that other stuff too.
No problem brother. Keep helping out our animal buddies, you guys all stay safe out there stormchasing and keep the videos coming.
Hank: I homeschool our children and my kids my husband, and I LOVE your videos. Where else can see nature at its best (and worst) animals, AND amazing music all on the same channel? I have 3 school subjects covered for media time right here!
Dude you're badass in so many ways.
Dido Hank! Love the way you save these animals. They're innocent, mean no harm and only try to protect themselves. They deserve our compassion. Yeah, get out more! Do it before you get too old!
Aaaaaah NATURE! It's all over me; GET IT OFF! ;)
You are one of the most amazing people I've ever seen, not to mention how great your sense of humour is
