Milroe was always an athlete playing the QB position. Not great at reading defenses and also missed SO MANY open receivers! I mean targeting Hollywood 19 times in one game? Are you kidding? Great North/South runner and especially if he makes it to the corner, great at throwing deep bombs but his midrange and over the middle game was so weak! (forget about crossing routes unless you want to be coughing up INT's all day) Also missed several short passes (3 yard dump offs that went 3 yards over the receiver’s head!) Such a ball hog too - on RPO’s he kept the ball every time and didn’t feed the RB’s. Terrible under center (only could handle shotgun), held the ball too long, made sacks 5 yards worse by trying to evade them - essentially needed to learn how and when to just throw the ball away. But he also looked like Superman at times too. Apparently he had some tells in his footwork and stance that tipped off defenses in the last 5-6 games ( but LSU and Mizzou didn’t know about it). He needs 3-4 years development with a patient QB coach to work on fundamentals like throwing motion and reading defenses, dumping the ball off under pressure -- or he should just transition to being a RB or TE/WR in the NFL. Great speed but not fluid elusiveness like Ryan Williams. Built like a tank but somehow was unwilling to tackle when he threw INT’s like vs OU. Shameful effort on that play… Haven't seen an "ole" like that since I went to bullfights in Mexico....
Milroe had 5 td passes in 8 games before bowl game and 6 turnovers in 2 games before bowl, yet Bama media still wanted him on field , has one player ever lowered their football IQ that much before
Milroe needs to sit and learn to be consistent as a QB he proved he can do what a QB can do just not consistently. Ty Simpson easy. Best qb. Only took the best Athlete in NCAA football that played at QB position to make him sit. Simpson is a 5 star that looks like a 5 star at the college level right now. He needs a good bit of muscle. Simpson should win battle he has proven that he is a a great QB! Definitely as physically isn’t ready to start in the SEC!
Simpson ain't proved nun 😅 Jalen wasn't the problem it was the scheme let's just be honest all the picks he threw seemed like pre read plays 😂 that's coaching
@@youngmurk100 Milroe was the biggest problem. Guys were wide open majority of every game and he can’t seem to hit them or look their way he’s to busy looking deep trying to force it to Williams who is double sometimes triple covered or Bernard who is double covered. Simpson has proved he was the best qb. That usf game when the last drive he came in and chewed as much clock off as he could. When run game looked better when Simpson was there especially Williams. It’s not coaches fault he’s not being able to be consistent QB only thing their fault was was not putting Simpson in instead of Milroe.
@coreyharrell9079 don't know what you don't get about the o line being the issue. We had Bryce and the same type of line no natty it's not on the qb to pick up blocks. They have to do there job for plays to work.
@coreyharrell9079 NFL ppl saying same thing I am we still have to get better on the line thats what wins championships. Ask Brady? If you go back and watch film. You would see the line getting they ass whooped in the losses and they looked like NFL lineman in the wins
@coreyharrell9079 NFL the trenches are just as important why you think they pay the lineman like they do especially the 1st rounders go look at what dj flucker Ryan Kelly big warmack and a few other former Bama o line guys make
@@tiamiyacampbell4820if Watts was average we still probably lose games, if Milroe was average we would’ve won a championship last year and at least been competing for one this year. @90sshuffle Riiight , in 4 years watts had 3540 passing yards and 20 TDs. in 2 years Milroe 2884 passing yards 20 rushing TDs and 14 passings TDs yeaa I see your point Tyler watts is twice the QB 😂
Would you do a film review & video on Jackson Lloyd? I think he has a great shot at being a 1st round pick 3 to 4 years from now. He will be around 295 to 300 his freshman season, eventually will get to 315 to 320 range at 6'7. His basketball and baseball tape is very impressive for a kid his size. He played basketball and baseball since he was kid but didn't start playing football until his Freshman year of high school. But i may be drinking the Crimson Kool-Aid from the On3 Bamaonline staff. Just curious to hear another evaluation of this kid, would love get your thoughts on him, since you mentioned you would take a look if anyone was interested
Jalen should have transferred to a school with a QB guru. Watching milroe this year, his mechanics were not good from the snap. We need a coach at Bama that can work with our QB's to improve their skills and get better.

If only Milroe would've have checked the🏈down on screens, slants then run plus don't throw deep until we got to midfield

Milroe needed a o line he is a good qb. An the qb job is between mack and Russell I see ty hitting the portal after the spring.
Milroe needed to read the defense before the snap better and make decisions faster. In the NFL he wont have that log to process what he sees.

Milroe need to go to lane at usc & become a qb

Milroe should return but just come from bench like Tua n hurts Rolltide
I like Milroexas a person, but he is one of the 3 worst qbs in Alavama history... in my opinion. Line can't stop blitzers and rushers for 5 seconds.
Pitiful news!
