My eleven year old daughter is a huge fan and aspires to be like you one day! She says she’s grateful for her family, her pets, friends, books, being outdoors and cups of tea. As a parent I’m also grateful that she has found a positive role model like you to follow. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Makes me laugh that these people with hundreds of thousands or millions of subscribers, their most recent videos get like 10k views so literally only about 2% of subscribers even watch the channel. HAHAHAHA Just shows what a load of BS UA-cam is HAHAHAHAHA 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Grateful for my parents keeping their home open to me regardless of my age for as long as I need it, 10 years plus of fighting chronic Lyme disease & other conditions as a result means I am Grateful to still be here, living whatever life I can albeit different to what I had always planned. There is always something to be grateful for. X
I've struggled a lot with my eating disorder this year and I am eternally grateful that I am allowed home for Christmas and I am so grateful for everyone who has helped me this year get to the point where I will be able to challenge my thoughts and enjoy all aspects of Christmas (including all the delicious foods!!)
An annotated book as a present is such a great idea, this actually reminds me of something I'm thankful for: second hand (a.k.a pre-loved) books. Sometimes one can find little notes on the margins or underlined passages, which is akin to gift idea
Yeah you can draw loads of Weiner's and put comments in then donate them haha. Leave messages for the new owner like "douchelord" or "you are a lameass" or something HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA 😂🤣😂🤣😂
This year, I am grateful for my nurse friends and their dedication to the people they care for! 🏥 Hope you and your family have a beautiful christmas!! 🎄 🎄
One thing I am truly grateful for this year is a fresh start at sixth form. Secondary school are not days I would choose to relive but by working hard I have gotten to the sixth form I wanted to be at and have been surrounded with like-minded ,wonderful people and I couldn't be more grateful for the wonders it has brought to my life this year so far !!
I am grateful for having my family so close to me this christmas. It's been a hectic year but I'm lucky to spend the best part of it with those whom I love.
This year I am greatful for having healed my relationship with my father, after years of being apart there is now love and peace. I am also greatful for realising how deeply loved I am by everyone in my life. Finally, I am greatful for just being able to apreciate the beaty in this world.
Hi there I totally agree with you. Also it’s unique and at least for me I’d rather receive a unique gift. Part of being unique may be that it’s not perfect but I don’t think there’s ever perfect. I think every handmade item is perfect in its own unique way and that’s what makes it so amazing. Happy holidays
DONT give me anything LAME that youve made, or it will go straight in the bin. I dont know what these lunatics are talking about. People make gifts and cards when they're too stingy to buy a gift.
@@thenoobalmighty8790 maybe think of it like this. Sure something store-bought may be more practical and useful but handmade items have so much more solid attention to detail and effort put into it. I understand that handmade items may not always be practical or super useful as a store-bought item could be but an individual is going to be putting so much of the time effort and energy into it that’s what counts to me. It’s not just some super quickly throwing an item into a basket to make sure everybody on the gift list has something. They are going to be thinking about you through the entire process of making that gift and it may even fit your preferences. If they know you well they may know your favourite colours or things of that sort to make the gift more personal. That isn’t always the case when people are shopping and at least for me that extra thought is what counts if you disagree with what I said that is OK. We can totally agree to disagree and that would be fine but I wanted to share my personal point of view POV as I know a lot of people who have the same thoughts as you but we also appreciate the time love attention and effort put into handmade gifts.
@@lillysummeroriginals1213 ah yes i understand. But usually they make you something lame thats all 😂 but yes i agree thats why i dont really buy cards its all very generic and just social compliance, not much thought like you say.
@@thenoobalmighty8790 I get what you’re saying. But at least for me I don’t think of it had me tossing them in the trash. I feel like there’s an attitude that shouldn’t be hand-in-hand with giftgiving. I think of it more as I will see if I can use it for its Ridgeville purpose if not I will see if I can leave it for another purpose. If I can’t use it for both then I may consider tossing it but also I keep some handmade gifts in a box. I go back to the box sometimes and I look at what people made for me. Getting in the mood to be creative again but yeah happy holidays but the items in the box can inspire me
i’m grateful for nature this year! i’ve been struggling with agoraphobia and am completely housebound, but the times i’m able to step out and see what the world’s doing, nature never fails to fill me with so much love. i’ve never really appreciated it until now! also you! watching your videos has really helped motivate me to get back into reading and make progress! thank you😌
Hello! I just want to say congratulations on winning the giveaway! If you pop me an email at rubygrangercontact@gmail.com we can sort out details :)xxx
This year, I'm grateful that I've learned that sometimes sitting and doing something I enjoy for a few hours is a better use of my time than trying to work when I really don't have the mental energy to.
I am grateful for my family! . I feel so loved when I am with them. Sometimes we may disagree or like different things, but I know that no matter what, we will always be there for each other and I want to be loving and caring to them in turn because they are the most generous and wonderful people I have ever known x
I'm grateful for my sister more and more every year; she is in her second year of university and I'm in year 11 so our lives are quite hectic and we don't talk as often as we used to be able too. She is my best friend and not having her here to decorate the Christmas tree or watch Christmas movies together makes me more grateful to have her in my life every year because it makes me appreciate her and family in general so much more as I'm getting older x
I am in grade 10. I have been studying in the same school since the age of 4. I had always decided that after grade 10, I will finally change my school. But, unfortunately, next year I will be changing school not because that's what I want but because I will have no choice but to change my school. This year is not only my last year but also my school's last year. After this my school will not exist anymore. That's why I am really grateful for the lovely time I spent in my school. I am grateful for the friends I chatted and laughed with. I am grateful to the teachers who stayed , in spite of the low salary, just to ensure we can study well in these tough circumstances. This year, we were shifted from the big beautiful school building to a small, tiny, cramped rented room of an apartment. 12 years of school life ending like this....but we still managed to have a lot of fun. We went out together to celebrate our teachers birthday, we took fun in the gossips and talks we had after school hours were over, when nobody was around me and my classmates would secretly 'steal' stationary items and spare school copies 😂, and so much more. I am so very grateful to the teachers and friends I got in my life. Mostly, I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to experience this wonderful yet bitter sweet year. Also sorry for any grammatical errors, English is not my native language.😅
Hello from America! I am grateful for hot cups of tea and a good book when my son goes down for a nap. Being able to have a moment to reflect, think, and to *feel* during the hustle of motherhood is so rejuvenating. I am grateful for those small, cozy moments
I’m grateful for my friends - like truly, just so in awe that i have such wonderful people around me. I just got out of a relationship which wasn’t very pleasant, and they’ve been nothing but supportive and understanding, despite me unintentionally pushing them away during it. Following along from that - Just the generosity and kindness of the people around me in general; whether close friends, family or strangers. The deep connections i’ve formed and the support systems surrounding me. it’s truly a blessing.
I am very grateful to be able to spend time with my family the way that I do. I enjoy the memories I make with them, even if it’s just a simple little thing as spending the night and sitting at home with them if they don’t live close by. These past couple years have made me think a lot about how we don’t always have all the time in the world like we think we do and so now that I’m older, I try and get out more to make these memories instead of sitting up in my room all day. On a side note, I love all these gift ideas that Ruby had presented us with. They’re so genuine and thoughtful and I’m sure her friends and family will appreciate them and love them just as much. (I am not from the UK so please don’t count my comment as an entry, I really just wanted to say what I was grateful for and give my thoughts.)
This year I'm so grateful for my family. Although we have our disagreements, they're always there for me. My parents have been taking it in turns to accompany me on various university open days since July and have helped me with my personal statement and the whole application process. My nan is also my biggest supporter, she's always buying me a new history book or cutting out a veteran's story from a newspaper, inspiring me to follow my dream of being a historian. I'm also grateful for my sister, as although we often argue and are very different, we both love reading and that's one thing we can always talk about. Although we have very different tastes in books, as she tends to read adventure books and I'm usually reading non- fiction (although I have been reading children's classics recently) we still like to chat about our faviroute authors or give reviews or recent books we've read.
I’m really grateful this year that I managed to work on my mental health even though it’s the year or my graduation. Also I went to my first Chopin concert which was amazing bc he is my favourite composer. I was also able to visit Rügen, a little island and realise that even though I’m different then the rest of the world that’s totally ok ( I’m potentially autistic, trying to get a diagnosis) Speaking of which I started my autism diagnosis journey!!! And I finished all my mock-up exams and now I’m really happy that it’s almost Christmas!!!!😊 Lastly I’m grateful for your videos Ruby because they kind of guide me through good and bad periods in my life. Thank you✨🌸
This year I’m grateful for my penpal. I’m so thankful she reached out and suggested sending letters to each other. I’ve made so many memories just sourcing things like postcards or cafes to write my letters in. And she’s been a great support, we are very similar and I’ve been really grateful to meet somebody who understands me well this year. I hope you stay warm and well this winter, Ruby. Have a wonderful Christmas
I'm grateful for the kind thoughtful and caring person I've become, and doing the best I can.(even though the people around me bully me, and don't always fully appreciate it.)
I am really grateful this year for my opportunities in education, and my experiences volunteering that I took part in this year. I'm grateful for the book cycle in Exeter that I get to go to on my study breaks. most of all, I'm grateful for all the friends that I have been making recently, ones that share my interests and passion.
I’m grateful for education, honestly GCSE’s are compulsory so none truly gets it’s magic, but when it comes time to a-levels and uni especially for some education is like a chore, but i really have a love for learning and deploring. It’s just so magical 🎉
This year has been complicated and busy, but I'm so grateful to be able to get together with my entire family over the Christmas holidays. we all live quite far away from each other now so these moments are really special ❤️
I am grateful this year for finally diving into making my own wardrobe! (sewing and knitting). I am slowly making all of my clothes and donating those that I can replace. It is so empowering to make your own things! And making and receiving gifts is always extra special. cheers!
I am grateful for the sprigs of holly and the soft smell of pine in the cosy living room, the glow of the the lights and glitter sparkling upon the Christmas tree. The anticipation for spring and smelling the faint smell of lavender between the pages of your favourite book. I have been following you since lockdown. You are so kind smart and thoughtful and I will be forever grateful the world needs more kind people like you. Keep doing what you are doing. ❤️❤️❤️
This was a tough year in terms of mental health, but the tons of existencial and identity crisis also opened my eyes to aspects of myself and the world around me I wasn’t expecting. So I am grateful for that. I am also grateful for having a healthy family who I love so much, because as I enter adolescence I start to understand not everyone is lucky enough to have such great people in their lives. I am grateful for being myself and for being able to get through all the challenges in my life. I am grateful for my friends (new and old). And I am grateful for my passions (art, ballet, music, reading, writing, etc) I am grateful to have lived another year in this beautiful world and I am grateful for being able to appreciate my life since unfortunately many others can’t. I love your channel, Ruby, you inspire me so much, so I guess I am also grateful for the motivation your videos bring me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Portugal ❤️
This year I’m ever grateful for a new friend that I met in Florence this summer. She recently came to London to visit me and we had the best week drinking coffee, lurking in bookshops and watching the new Emily Brontë film in cinema. She left behind for me after leaving a hand written version of Emily Brontes ‘Love and Friendship’. Thoughtful gives don’t come often. I will be visiting her home in rural Canada at some point this year!
I feel so grateful for my pets this year. I really do think that animals are the greatest friends, they have never failed to support me through hard times. They are such a source of joy, and I can only hope that they know how much I appreciate them. In reference to this video, we are making our cats little homemade presents this year by sewing scraps of fabric into mouse shapes (with ribbon ears and tails) and stuffing them with catnip! :)
I am grateful to all my childhood friends back in my hometown. When I moved it was never quite the same between us, because my move wasn't my choice. But, I recently visited some of them after 2 years, and I realised how blessed I am to have grown up around such a kind, supportive community. I am most grateful for my friends, because they raised me to be myself, and now that they are proud of me and where life's taken me, I am so proud and thankful for all they have done. Thank you Ruby(from another named Ruby), Merry Christmas and God bless you. xx
I’m grateful for my family. I’m grateful for my new home. I’m grateful for my friends old and new, near and afar. I love the gift ideas. Will be doing some of these for friends
It's been a rough year for my family. We lost 3 of my relatives, a fourth is close to death, and 3 more estranged us over it. My dad has gotten more toxic over the year because of his inability to process the deaths and it has made me anxious to be around him. That said, I am grateful for those relatives that have stepped up and are healing broken relationships among us. I am also grateful to have gotten out of uni (unfortunately was a very toxic experience for me), moved to a new city to start my dream job, and now have the time and money to work on myself.
I'm so grateful for all the ways in which I'm privileged - spending a lot of time with people who haven't had the same opportunities as me has really opened my eyes to how lucky I truly am. On the paper I already knew about those privileges, but now I feel them every day and this is making me appreciate every day a bit more, even when the going gets tough.
I’m grateful for my family and for my health. To me that’s more important above anything material one might have and it tops off in my opinion. With COVID and everything else you really can’t ask for more. Just having my family good it’s the best thing ❤
This year I'm so grateful for my friend who let me come live with him for a few weeks when I really needed some time to reset, and he helped give me the confidence to change my life and move on from my home town to something new. I now live in Edinburgh and I'm grateful every day to be here - especially today because it's snowing!!! Merry Christmas Ruby xxx
I am grateful for my family's health as last Christmas, my dad was in the hospital and my brother was stuck in Mexico on his Honeymoon with COVID. These are amazing ideas!
I am a literature teacher in the United States. I am very grateful for all of my students! They make me smile every day. It's a dream to be able to talk books with such thoughtful people. A literary box would be a dream! I love these gift ideas--I would also recommend annotating a favorite cookbook with notes and memories of meals you've shared. I did this for a friend and she loved it!
Slightly odd, but this year I am grateful for my parents and their constant and growing love for each other. As I’ve grown up, I’ve noticed more and more how peoples parents divorce and complicated relationships have impacted their children’s lives so negatively and becoming an adult myself I am constantly grateful that my parents remained together. They showed me what true friendship and love means, and too this day they are inseparable. It is truly inspiring. Thank you for another wonderful video ( I am also grateful for your constant positivity, creativity and inspiration on the internet🌿🍄🌷💐xx
This year I'm grateful for living in one big world I'm grateful for my famliy I'm also grateful for this midwinter that brings comfort and captivating scenes of nature 🌿🌙
this year i am grateful for my hobbies, particularly baking, crafting and reading, as i have struggled moving away from home and have found taking time with my hobbies has helped to calm my anxiety in a way, it is too easy to forget all that makes you happy! thank you for the video, what a beautiful range of ideas, i will be taking some on to give to family :) x
this year i am grateful for my friends and my girlfriend they have been there for me through a hard year and they have made is much much better. i am also greatful for my cat for still being here and my teachers.
I’m grateful to be living in an area where I have close access to parks and green spaces, it is something I have gravitated towards this year especially for long walks, it has also led me to appreciate the change in seasons so much more…I have always thought summer to be my favourite season but I now have such an immense love for autumn 🍂 ❤
I loved the simplicity but thoughtfulness of these gifts. This year I'm grateful that I got my dream job and got the opportunity to help others in return xx
Love these ideas! I have also been making handmade presents this year for my friends and family. Looking back on this year i have to say I am most thankful for the little moments with the friends i have around me and my family, memories we have made throughout the year which we can all look back on in the future 😊🧡🧡🧡
this video was an absolute delight, ruby! i'm grateful for the swirling light and shadows made by the sunlight shining through the wrought iron railing on my balcony. i'm grateful for the soothing comfort and pressure of my weighted blanket. i'm grateful for the delicate song of my wind chimes. most of all, i'm grateful for the healing progress i've made with my mental health this year, as, without it, i could barely notice or feel gratitude at all.
This year I'm grateful for having found and met the love of my life:) even though it is a long distance relationship, we're very close to our year anniversary and have already met each other in our respective countries♥︎ I can definitely see a life by his side and we will make it happen very soon🥰
This year has been packed with things to be grateful for. One big thing is that I graduated and, upon starting my compulsory internship, realised I am in fact capable of doing the work I'd studied for and don't feel imposter syndrome ☺️ Also, I travelled a lot.
I am really grateful for my education this year and just how ABSOLUTELY AWESOME it is that there is so much neverending knowledge to be discovered. Other than that I am thankful for everything, absolutely everything, life is so very beautiful even if it's hard.
I am grateful for receiving a scholarship which enabled me to study in England for a trimester. In the beginning, it was really hard, but after three months, I have learnt a lot about myself. I am grateful for every person I got to meet, for all of the amazing friendships I was able to form, and for my father's support when my credit card didn't work during the entire first week. And especially for my boyfriend who always has my back and always manages to cheer me up and give me a lot of helpful advice!
Hi Ruby, I believe it's vital to enrich yourself and try and find ways to immerse yourself in your interests every day. Therefore, I am incredibly grateful to have found employment in the NHS last month in a department that I know makes a difference to multitudes of lives every year by preventing the development of bowel cancers. To have this opportunity so soon after leaving school is such a privilege and I greatly appreciate the open-mindedness of my manager and the trust in taking me on. You and your community inspired me to follow my goals and to continue learning so I could work in a service that makes such a difference. Thank you. Have a wondrous Christmas and a prosperous new year!
I've had a really stressful and challenging year last year (including mild burn-out symptoms), but I am greateful for all of it. I have had so many small and big moments of absolute joy and happiness and geew so much this year, especially how to rake better care of me and how to set better boundaries. I am grateful for all of it, my whole 22. I think it was one of my bests yet :) receiving this price would mean a lot to me, i have neen eyeing your planner for so long 😊🤗
I am grateful for my teachers that are helping me through my learning this year. A-levels are such a difficult thing in life ,so I am so grateful that they are there to support me. Also I love your channel. Merry Christmas.
I am grateful that I get to spend my first Christmas with my Italian family in Italy. We normally only go over there for the summer and after a few seasons with a pandemic, it's extra special to be able to spend that time with my Nonna, aunts, uncles and my cousins 💜💜
This year, I am grateful for my twin sister, who I’ve grown a lot closer to in the past few years. We were always basically attached at the hip but growing up really outlined our differences, and we used to bicker a lot as younger teenagers/ tweens, so we grew apart. However, since lockdown we were able to confide in each other a lot as we were unable to see family and friends and, since then, arguments are a lot less frequent and we can open up to each other a lot better. Recently, my mental health hasn’t been great and I’ve lost a few friends but having an identical twin has really made me feel a lot less lonely and she’s always there to talk to. I honestly cant thank her enough ♡ At Christmas time we all need a close friend or family to talk to x
Although I am living in Australia 🇦🇺 and can’t participate in the give away, I still wanted to mention what I am grateful for during this very difficult 😞 year. I am grateful just to be ALIVE and able to enjoy all the experiences that the planet Earth 🌏 and nature has to offer us. Additionally I am grateful and very thankful for music as it has help me greatly to get through many a tough time over the last year and a bit. Most of all I am grateful for the love of my family and friends especially that of my kids. Oh and how could I forget I am grateful to all my favourite authors who write the fantastic books I have read and will continue doing on into the future. Last but not least I am grateful/thankful for the content creators on UA-cam, who motivate, inspire and teach me each and every day how to understand the real me and my place in this big old world. They all help me in some way shape or form by improving my mood, knowledge or providing me with a new found perspective on an idea, life or the world. Finally I am grateful for all the hot chocolates that are like warm hugs 🤗.
I love when you upload a new video! I'm really grateful to be with my family this year. I was away over the pandemic and it really made me sad that I couldn't be with my family during Christmas. So this year, I'm very grateful for them and making the most of it! I made them a DIY advent calendar and you've inspired me to make some other gifts for them too.
This year I’m grateful, of course, for good health to me and my family. But asides from all that, I’m grateful for my camp America experience which were focused on the development of American youth and the friends I’ve made during it. Im also grateful for, almost, finally having an idea for what id like to do career wise, ideally a writer! It’s this year I’m really discovering the magic of literature, and I’ve already attended my ideal university open day.
what a lovely video! I love all these ideas!!! you've inspired me so much! What I am truly grateful for is to have completed my cancer treatments and very grateful to be here. Each day is a blessing and a gift. You have inspired me to make gifts for my family. I am going to try a few of the ones you have mentioned in the video. More ideas would be making bookmarks, candles and hot chocolate mix. I really love the little bird you painted. So lovely! Sending all my positivity and love from PEI. :)
Im gratefully for my little sister! She and I had fallen out before she got very ill in February. We put everything behind us and are now best friends. She is out of hospital and I'm never taking her for granted again
I'm grateful that this year I invested a lot of time to come into my own, to truly enjoy my own company, and to strive towards self-sufficiency and independence (which are core values for me)! p.s. I'm also very grateful for your videos, and the joy they provide to me always! Thank you and happy holidays!
I am grateful Ruby for being able to be in awe of the beaty of the world, music, written word, frost on the spiderwebs. I am also grateful for you Ruby and your authentic love of literature and kindness. Thank you☃️❄️🌨🐧🎄
I am grateful for my family and my home - I have learned to appreciate the small things which people may not have and really need. Happy Holidays everyone 💕✨🌈
Merry Christmas Ruby!❤❤❤ I’ve always loved your videos because they are so calming and motivate me when I have a terrible day. I’m grateful for having my family and friends who always accompany me through tough times. I’m also grateful for myself because I’m trying hard to become the best person I’ve ever been, and will ever be.
I really liked the custom made paper and envelopes idea, might do the same this Christmas... I'm grateful for some of the small changes I did this year for myself, because lately it's been hard to be kind for no others but me, even if it sounds odd.
I'm short on money this year (again) so I'll do selfmade stuff again too. Normally I would just draw something, but I have no idea what to draw nor time and motivation. So my plans for this year is: - melting white and brown chocolate and freeze them in a shark/whale ice cube form, so that they end up being chocolate sharks/whale/dolphins/fish (I just have that form lying around and no other forms). And matching to that - I recently got interested in crocheting so I'll try to crochet them all a little wale (yeah it's the best beginner thing I found, cause I still suck and that way I can make gifts and learn at the same time, while not having much time since I do it just every night for an hour or so). Maybe I add your drawing idea with the newspaper background if i can get my hands on something to put it into. (Maybe a fish or a whale to complete the unplanned theme i have going on)
If you'll leave your candles lit until the wax completely liquefies around the top ("pooling out"), they won't "tunnel" like that green one is. Extinguishing a candle before it "pools out" will just cause it to burn straight down the middle and most of the wax will end up wasted.
I love your videos! I'm greatful for having my family and a roof over my head, I'm greatful to have the friends that I have and I'm greatful my old dog is still with us and living his best life! We live in the Highlands and he's a Westie called Brodie 🥰 you inspire me to be a little more organised and just look at things through a romanticised lens which makes things seem a little more fun! Hope you have an amazing Christmas 🎄
Although I'm greatful for so many things this year, favourite is that I'm grateful for my family being there when I needed them. What a lovely video Ruby I'll definitely be making some of these ❤
I discovered your channel two years ago now and you are like a friend to me Ruby. I don’t have many so I am very grateful to feel like I have a friendship with a wonderful person like you and I am truly grateful❤
I’m sorry but if I received any of these shoddy self-made gifts from an egregiously rich trust fund woman in her 20s I would not be able to hide my disbelief and disappointment. These would maybe be passable if a 10-year-old child made them, although, to be honest by that time in order to get every family member something I was saving up all my pocket money, which wasn’t a lot for a kid in a tiny Eastern European country where my young parents did not even have enough money to buy me diapers when I was a baby. Even when I did make my own gifts they looked 10 times better. I remember when I was 12, I designed calendars for my grandmothers, each month containing a self-drawn picture of various cats with different expressions and poses - took me weeks to complete. Right now I have got into epoxy resin crafts so I buy good-quality wooden trays and decorate them so they look as good as the ones sold for hundreds of pounds on Etsy. My friends have loved them so much that one wanted to hang it up on her wall like a prized painting, which I thought was a bit much lol. This is really not to brag, rather to suggest that if you’re not good at painting or crafts, maybe practice until you’re at least decent before embarrassing yourself with childish gifts like these. I went to art school for 5 years and later an art university, it takes years of training and dedication unless you’re naturally extremely gifted. However, my biggest issue with this is how wealthy she is. If she did not come from money and was not making for this one video featuring subpar self-made presents what I as a Masters-educated architectural specialist who has been lecturing at a university since I was 21 am making in two months, then I’d be far more likely to forgive her for these, frankly hideous, make-shift gifts. She has no real job yet is earning ridiculous amounts with all her undeclared ads, hence having all the time and money in the world to curate and buy unique expensive gifts for everyone and maybe write a heart-felt letter aside. Instead she uses making these worthless monstrosities as another money-grab opportunity, I truly hope she comes to her senses and at least uses the paycheck from this video to buy proper gifts so none of her loved ones need face the second-hand embarrassment of receiving this rubbish. Her complaining about low-paid postal workers striking whilst sat up in her ivory tower which she never leaves is truly the tory cherry on top of her mountain of privilege. Thanks for proving that rich people really are the stingiest and most delusional penny pinchers known to man..
I'm grateful for so many things this year but the the most significant one actually relates to the past. I'm so grateful that I was encouraged to take A level geography because this past year my geography teacher has been wonderful when the rest of my world was in chaos and no one else seemed to care :) And I'm grateful for your videos and these great gift ideas!
My eleven year old daughter is a huge fan and aspires to be like you one day! She says she’s grateful for her family, her pets, friends, books, being outdoors and cups of tea. As a parent I’m also grateful that she has found a positive role model like you to follow. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Ruby granger is lame , why she want to be like her?? Haha
Ruby truly is a great role model for our next generation.

Definitely. I bought a pre loved cookery book and it had a hand written recipe in it from the previous owner
I always appreciate homemade gifts. I don't care if it doesn't look "perfect." The fact that someone took time to make something for me means so much!
@@RubyGranger8 hello! oh my gosh thank you so much! i’ve just emailed you!!! x
I'm grateful for the friends and connections that I have made, especially since this year was so difficult for me.
And I finished all my mock-up exams and now I’m really happy that it’s almost Christmas!!!!😊
Lastly I’m grateful for your videos Ruby because they kind of guide me through good and bad periods in my life. Thank you✨🌸
These homemade gifts are simple and adorable all at the same time. We appreciate Ruby for her consistency on this channel. Happy Holidays to everyone.
I am grateful for the amazing time I've spent with my loved ones this year, I'm grateful for having them in my life ❣
I am grateful for parenting three sons to adulthood. I’m so proud of each of them.❤️❤️❤️
I am really grateful this year for my opportunities in education, and my experiences volunteering that I took part in this year.
I'm grateful for being able to experience autumn and snow( for the first time ever) and for having libraries around me😊
I am grateful for life's simple pleasures that you celebrate on this channel. It's truly what makes life worth living!
And I am grateful for my passions (art, ballet, music, reading, writing, etc)
I am grateful to have lived another year in this beautiful world and I am grateful for being able to appreciate my life since unfortunately many others can’t.
Thank you Ruby(from another named Ruby), Merry Christmas and God bless you. xx
I am grateful to have my family, especially my sick grandma, and my boyfriend with me this Christmas ♥
I really love how simple and personal all these are. I’m starting to put together gift ideas for everyone because I plan on making everything.
So grateful for my friends this year, got me through some tough times and stuck with me throughout them all. love them to bits
Love these ideas! I have also been making handmade presents this year for my friends and family. Looking back on this year i have to say I am most thankful for the little moments with the friends i have around me and my family, memories we have made throughout the year which we can all look back on in the future 😊🧡🧡🧡
I am grateful for how my life is right now and to everyone and everything that's making it better than what it was!
this video was an absolute delight, ruby!
i'm grateful for the swirling light and shadows made by the sunlight shining through the wrought iron railing on my balcony.
i'm grateful for the soothing comfort and pressure of my weighted blanket.
i'm grateful for the delicate song of my wind chimes.
most of all, i'm grateful for the healing progress i've made with my mental health this year, as, without it, i could barely notice or feel gratitude at all.
I am grateful for my family, friends, coffee, and the outdoors.
I got a lot of helpful ideas from this video, thank you!
This year I'm grateful for having found and met the love of my life:) even though it is a long distance relationship, we're very close to our year anniversary and have already met each other in our respective countries♥︎ I can definitely see a life by his side and we will make it happen very soon🥰
I am really grateful for my parents supporting me in what I do, which has helped me achieve my goals :)
This year has been packed with things to be grateful for. One big thing is that I graduated and, upon starting my compulsory internship, realised I am in fact capable of doing the work I'd studied for and don't feel imposter syndrome ☺️ Also, I travelled a lot.
Well done ✔️
I agree!

This year I am grateful for the beauty of the world.
Embroider a handkerchief, love that looking very unique and heavy we drawing anything ,amazing idea .
Do you have a conjoined twin? That's so cool!
@@Aikoxtic oh no haha, i meant metaphorically 😄 that would be quite cool though

I am grateful for the times of quiet and reflection that these videos bring. Also... Space heaters!
I am grateful for my family and my home as not everyone is lucky enough to have these things.❤Merry Christmas.🎄
I'm grateful for family- and the fact that all my close ones are healthy and well :) x
I've been part of a book club this year and I'm so grateful for the company and joy it has brought me! It has been a great thing to be a part of x
I am grateful for loving parents and the smell of autumn breeze
This year I’m grateful, of course, for good health to me and my family. But asides from all that, I’m grateful for my camp America experience which were focused on the development of American youth and the friends I’ve made during it. Im also grateful for, almost, finally having an idea for what id like to do career wise, ideally a writer! It’s this year I’m really discovering the magic of literature, and I’ve already attended my ideal university open day.
This year I am grateful that I have been able to start doing the sport I love with my university team!
what a lovely video! :)
As someone who loves birds and birding, I LOVED your watercolored robin!❤️
Im gratefully for my little sister! She and I had fallen out before she got very ill in February. We put everything behind us and are now best friends. She is out of hospital and I'm never taking her for granted again
I'm grateful that this year I invested a lot of time to come into my own, to truly enjoy my own company, and to strive towards self-sufficiency and independence (which are core values for me)! p.s. I'm also very grateful for your videos, and the joy they provide to me always! Thank you and happy holidays!
I'm grateful for my family, my books and my journals. Happy holidays! 🎄♥️🍀
So my plans for this year is:
- melting white and brown chocolate and freeze them in a shark/whale ice cube form, so that they end up being chocolate sharks/whale/dolphins/fish (I just have that form lying around and no other forms).
And matching to that
- I recently got interested in crocheting so I'll try to crochet them all a little wale (yeah it's the best beginner thing I found, cause I still suck and that way I can make gifts and learn at the same time, while not having much time since I do it just every night for an hour or so).
Maybe I add your drawing idea with the newspaper background if i can get my hands on something to put it into. (Maybe a fish or a whale to complete the unplanned theme i have going on)
Hey Ruby I am grateful for you this year as you have always inspired me to be more curious and considerate about life!
I’m grateful to work from home so I can spend lots of time with my husband and our pup. :)
If you'll leave your candles lit until the wax completely liquefies around the top ("pooling out"), they won't "tunnel" like that green one is. Extinguishing a candle before it "pools out" will just cause it to burn straight down the middle and most of the wax will end up wasted.
Loved this video! the world you create is so wholesome and - it will probably be over but I am grateful for poetry and music
This year I thank the gods for the wealth that I have received in good health, good friendships, good moods and life lessons
I'm grateful for finding this channel this year it is always so cozy and cute!

I’m so grateful for my family and friends ❤
